O

nce upon a time there lived an old man named Mr. Das, he losed One of his leg in a war and now he walks on a tin leg. He had a huge garden. There were tall trees of various fruits of that area. He used to take care of his garden more than himself. From watering them regularly to spraying insecticides. His childrens were living in America they rarely used to call their father i.e Mr. Das. Whenever Mr. Das was alone in the garden he thought, My children's doesn't even comes once to meet me. But Mr. Das wasn't a sad man, he was known about the obstacles of life. He was happy in his own world. Chirping of birds, Fruits falling from trees, Mr. Das watering plants all was his happiness. One day a small boy came in the garden by seeing a bunch of yellow mango. He thought he might have a juicy mango. He stepped in the garden, and when he saw Mr. Das lying on the wooden seat he became afraid and was stepping back. Mr. Das called the boy and made him sit on the bench on which he was lying. Mr Das - Hey, little boy... Who are you? Where do you live? Nimbu - I'm Nimbu, I live in backside colony of this garden. Mr. Das - How you came here? Where's your mom and dad? Nimbu - I'm sorry, my mom says small childrens shouldn't talk to strangers. Mr. Das - Haha, my child your mom says right. (Mr. Das was in love with the innocency of the child) Nimbu was watching the mangoes hanging on the tall tree. Mr Das asked whether he wants mangoes, Nimbu nodded.

Mr. Das walked and brought a bamboo stairs and stepped up and brought some fresh mangoes. Nimbu was very happy, he had taken the taste of those tasty juicy mangoes. Mr. Das and Nimbu spent a great time together Nimbu shared his chocolates with Mr. Das. They both were happy with each other's company. It was evening, Nimbu remembered her mother's words that, "be back soon" , he left from the garden and said, my mother doesn't allow me to come out of the house, I'll try to come next time if possible and we will play ludo and football. Days passed Nimbu came in alternate days to meet Mr Das sometimes with his mother when she didn't allowed so that he can ensure her that he's safe. One day Nimbu asked Mr. Das, Don't you feel alone in this huge garden? Don't you feel pain in your leg? Mr. Das said, "No my child, we should be happy & positive no matter what, black days will pass away if we will be strong to face it " Nimbu said, "Wow, don't worry uncle I'm here with you to make you laugh and smile". Mr. Das hugged Nimbu. After that weeks passed Nimby didn't returned as he promised, Mr Das decided to visit Nimbu's home. He visited there after a lot of struggles in ďŹ nding the colony number. He ranged bell, a man came out, he was Ashok Nimbu's father. He said Namaste to Mr. Das and welcomed him. His wife Veena came with a glass of water. Mr. Das and Nimbu's parents sit together and before Mr. Das could ask they revealed that Nimbu is no more. He passed away last night, he was suffering from leukemia that was the reason they used to keep him at home. They all were in tears now. Mr. Das didn't expected this , tears were falling from his cheeks. Nimbu's parents told that when we were worried, that we will lose nimbu, He made us believe that stay positive, "My Das uncle says, black days will pass away". Mr Das has taken off, he's alone again. He was thinking God could have taken his life why that small child who made him smile again. He remembered Nimbu's words , "I'm always with you". Moral -: Be positive, life has lots of obstacles, Enjoy today, think about future... Let the negayivities go away.
