e Coach Foundation was founded by Alicia Morgado and Luciana Leo as a vehicle for them to share their motivation, dedication, and willingness to help special needs families on a quest for providing a better, more wholesome life for their children. The mission of the organization is to foster skills through family and individual training, support, and community involvement. “We want participating families to develop functional independence, social, pragmatic, and community integration in their day-to-day lives. Above all, we want their quality of life to improve tenfold,” said Leo and Morgado. Why We Coach was founded? “Our belief is that family and caregiver involvement is an important key to help individuals with special needs to thrive. In our years of experience, we learned that parent and caregiver involvement is often overlooked. We want for families to be as prepared as possible to negotiate the challenges

that may await them as their children transition thru life. We understand the impact that interventions and services within the community have in the families lives. Nonetheless, parent/ caregiver training and education are as vital for individuals to generalized the learned skills into their natural environment, which is home” said Leo We Coach Programs All programs provided by We Coach are free of charge for the families. We Coach Foundation serves as a platform for special needs families to learn, practice, and globalize daily skill sets while promoting community integration. This environment provides a unique opportunity for both, the individuals and their families, to empower functional independence and productive interactions. The MAP Program is a parenttraining course for helping families explore the potential in everyday tasks. MAP allows families to create a dynamic plan of care for an individual’s potential growth, as well
