aB.noteWAYNE from HUGHE S We at Spendthrift Australia are excited about the upcoming breeding season where six diverse stallions and multiple breeding programs underpin our vision for the future. Like our 26-strong roster at Spendthrift Farm in Kentucky, we believe our six stallions in 2019 provide opportunity for every breeder in the Australian marketplace. While Spendthrift Farm is home to perennial leading sire Malibu Moon, the incredible sire on the rise Into Mischief and North America’s leading first crop sires in 2018 Cross Traffic and Goldencents to name a few, Spendthrift Australia too have exciting sire power for southern hemisphere breeders. Bolt d’Oro, the multiple Group 1-winning millionaire by Medaglia d’Oro and a leading U.S. two-year-old of 2017, will be the highest profile stallion to shuttle to Spendthrift Australia since we’ve opened our doors. We believe he is one of the best two-year-olds American racing has witnessed and he will be very attractive to our breeders. Bolt d’Oro will join us this breeding season after covering a full book of mares in his highly-anticipated first season at stud in Kentucky, and we have a quality line-up, including a selection of recently acquired broodmares, in the wings waiting to support him. Overshare and Gold Standard will be standing their second season at Spendthrift Australia and will be participating in our renowned Breed Secure program. Their first-crop foals arrive this spring following good support in their debut season. The first yearlings by Swear will make their sale ring debuts in early 2020, while Hampton Court and Jimmy Creed have larger crops hitting the racetracks soon. Jimmy Creed proved to be one of the very best second-crop sires in the U.S. with all metrics showing he’s moving up his mares better than any in his class. We invite you to visit Spendthrift, inspect our stallions and view the exciting farm developments that have taken place in recent years. For more information about Spendthrift Australia stallions, or our breeding programs available in 2019, Garry and Josh are available to help. We wish you the best during the upcoming breeding season.

Sincerely,
