Continua1 comp1aints about broken 91aSsSs,rubbish and graffiti in the pipes on the recreation ground caused the Parish Counci1 to remove them during Ju1y. These pipes have for some time proVided a meeting p1ace for a Sma11 section of our teenage community,who used them during the summer months when the Youth Club was c10sed。 Counci11or Shei1a Les1ie-Mi11er met representatives of this group after a number of acts of yanda1ism had taken place on the recreation ground and real1ised that they fe1t an important amenity had been removed、Their request to the Counci1 for an a1ternative shel1ter has so far come to nothing . A good samaritan,in the form of a 1ace manufacturer in Nottingham,read the Sad story in a newspaper and made her a beautifu1 new one! Sarah and her husband spent their honeymoon camping in Europe and wi11 1ive in Shrewsbury where Mark i1s als0 a teacher。
