Trefol11AWwardis 0n Teesday September 20th Claire Connal and Claire Harwood attended a county presentation ceremony at Beaumanor Hall to receive the highest award in the Guide section,the Baden-Powel1 Trefoil. They were presented with their certificates by the Director of Education,Mr Wood-Allum,and were watched by parents and guiders. The girl1s gained their award while members of the lst Kibworth Guide Company.。 They undertook numerous activities including forty hours community service,study of the EEC,first aid,fire fighting,and Patrol Camp pennants. .We offer .congratulations. to both of them.
Sfeve Succeeds for Day Centfre Kibworth can be very _proud of 5teve Taylor, grandson of Mr & Mrs L Reeve of Fleckney Road who recently completed 16 miles of a sponsored walLk for the Roman Way Day Centre. The walk was along the disused railway 1ine.from Harborough to Northampton from 2pm on Saturday and Steve finished at 4.30 am on Sunday morning . They were totally self-sufficient ,carrying food,cookepy tent theirf backs,a weight of 40 1bs each. They had very mixed weather and sank 林
