The Rotary Club recently sponsored Tim “Savage, of “Hillcrest Avenue, Kibworth,for a“Lakeland Challengeˇ Outward Bound course organised by the Calyert Trust. Tim, with a party of other handicapped young adults from the East Midlands, did abseiling,canoeing,rock climbing and horseriding during his week in the Lake
District, and said he had the time of his life.“The abseiling was a bit scary but I felt great at having accomplished all these things, which I had not done before. 1 now feel much more confident.“ President Barry Ellwood congratulated Tim and presented him with his Certificate of Achievement at the Rotary Club「s meeting.
