An entrance fee is a one-time, upfront payment made by residents to guarantee lifetime use of their residence and primary access to advanced levels of care if, and when, needs increase. At Seafields by Bishop Gadsden, this grants access to our full continuum of care with our Inclusive Care Benefit: after 90 days free in either Assisted Living or Skilled Nursing, there is a 40% lifetime discount off the private market rate for Assisted Living and a 20% discount off the market private pay rate for Skilled Nursing for up to 365 days, per contract. This provides residents with peace of mind regarding potential future care costs.
Seafields by Bishop Gadsden offers a Refundable Entrance Fee. If a resident moves out or passes away, depending on their entrance fee contract a portion of the entrance fee will return to their estate once their unit is resold. This is a popular option in Life Plan Communities based on its use as an estate planning tool.
