The theme of the Pratibha December 2021 edition revolves around “Back to the future”. When we move back into the new normal all parts of our lives are jumbled together, walls have come down and lines have disappeared. For some, it’s just starting from where they left off and for others, it’s learning how to live or re-live in a Social setting. The graphic team has combined the elements with a cheery palette, creating an air of optimism with the feeling of something impending. Borrowing the sentimentality of the surrealists, we have tried to capture the “New Normal” with this edition. We have used a very rhetorical language for the cover that depicts an urgency coupled with forward-looking imagery.
