I'm currently working at Merlin Entertainments as a LEGO Model Designer, a role I've been in since May 2019. Along the way, I also had the chance to step into a creative role as a LEGO Prop Designer for about two years,
Previously, I spent over five years as an industrial and product designer. During that time, I built up solid experience across various industries, including mass production, oil and gas, and rail. I’m comfortable working with CAD tools like AutoCAD, 3Ds Max, Rhinoceros, and V-Ray, and I also enjoy bringing ideas to life through hand sketching. I studied Industrial Design at Universiti Teknologi Malaysia, which gave me a strong foundation in both creative thinking and technical problem-solving.

The new Build Experiences (BE) concept introduces wall-mounted LEGO models that guests can interact with while queuing for a ride. The design incorporates vibrant colors and draws inspiration from a ninja theme. This approach gives guests a fun, hands-on way to engage with LEGO and spark their creativity during their visit.

LEGOLAND Windsor (Mythica)
– Beauty Beast Creature
LEGOLAND Windsor Resort held a contest to design a new creature for the LEGO MYTHICA theme. The winner was a nine-year old girl who created a hybrid beast with giraffe legs, peacock feathers, a swan head, and phoenix wings. My role was to redesign her sketch into a majestic LEGO model of the Beauty Beast. One of the key challenges I faced was ensuring structural stability. Balancing the long giraffe-like legs and wide peacock tails while maintaining the elegance and magical proportions of the original vision required precise engineering.

Astor House Hotel (The Bund)
The Astor House Hotel is one of the Miniland models featured at LEGOLAND Shanghai, located in the River Ride scene under The Bund cluster. The building showcases a classic colonial architectural style, reflecting its historical roots from the colonial era, when it was originally built many years ago.
LEGOMODEL COLLABORATIVE PROJECTS
LEGOLAND KOREA – Guinza Temple Complex
This project was a collaboration with other designers to create a temple complex made up of around 11 LEGO models, placed in its own cluster at LEGOLAND Korea. The temple includes detailed ornaments and traditional patterns, which were carefully adapted into LEGO elements to reflect the original architecture.

My own creation of LEGO set, transform from the 2x2 brick element into scale-up, portable playhouse in 2x2 brick element form. Designed for a kids to build and take outside for endless adventure.
