THE KNOWLEDGE PARENT NEWSLETTER 19 OCTOBER 2023
A Message from the Executive Principal We have had a wonderful start to the academic year and I thank you, as always, for your ongoing support and care as we look forward to our first mid-term break next week. As you know, here at KGIS, we are driving our mission to ensure that all students are equipped with the confidence to become pioneers of their own future. A key part of this is the continuing importance we place upon careers and university education, which starts in KG1! Our Careers Dress Up Day gave all students the opportunity to think about what they might like to do in the future and to consider the range of careers that are available to them. The Personal, Social, Health and Economic Education (PSHE) programme is delivered to all students as part of their Homeroom time. The programme is designed to instil high aspirations in all students in learning about the opportunities they will have in their life beyond school, and learning about the different study and university pathways that will help them achieve their goals. KGIS students have access to the Unifrog platform from Grade 4 onwards, which empowers them to make informed decisions related to their own personal goals, and take control in forging their own unique pathways to success. Careers and University education is led by Mr. Antony, our dedicated counsellor who ensures that KGIS students are equipped with the skills they need to access places at the best universities around the world. We look forward to continuing to support your children in their unique journeys to success, and to ensuring that they leave KGIS well-equipped for life in an ever-changing global society. Wishing you all a safe and restful mid-term break!
