CHICAGO THEATRE WEEK The eighth annual extravagaza is back, offering discounted tickets to more than 100 productions around the city Feb. 13-23 It’s time to pull the curtain back on the eighth annual Chicago Theatre Week, offering everything from musicals and comedies to dramatic plays at discounted rates. Presented by the League of Chicago Theatres, in partnership with Choose Chicago, Chicago Theatre Week runs Feb. 13-23 and showcases the city’s extraordinary arts scene by offering the opportunity to see more than 100 participating productions around the city — with tickets going for just $15 or $30 (sometimes even less).
Whether it’s a major production at one of Chicago’s iconic downtown theatres or an outlandish improv comedy set, gripping drama or family-oriented musical at a tucked-away neighborhood theatre or storefront venue, you’re sure to find something to cheer for during this 11-day extravaganza. Limited quantities of the specially priced $15 and $30 tickets are available for some shows, and many performances will sell out in advance.
