Delta Airlines Cancellation Policy In accordance with the Delta Airlines Cancellation Policy, passengers have 24 hours to rectify errors or cancel scheduled tickets without paying the cancellation fee. No cancellation fee is imposed, when the traveler cancels scheduled tickets within 24 hours of booking. If passengers, for any reason, wish to cancel scheduled tickets after 24 hours, the airline imposes a cancellation fee according to the class of service or the destination of the passengers. Passengers with flexible or refundable tickets are eligible for a refund after paying the cancellation fee per Delta's Cancellation Policy. All Flex ticket passengers can cancel tickets 24 hours prior to departure, refund amount is drawn after deduction of cancellation fees. The entire refund amount will be reverted to the respective account within 20 business days. According to the cancellation policy of Delta Airlines: Passengers with non-refundable tickets will receive a refund after deduction of cancellation fees, but passengers with a basic economy fare ticket are not eligible for refunds. To obtain a refund, passengers must contact customer service within the allotted time. When the flight is delayed for more than three hours, the airline will give passengers a passenger with an electronic coupon (the same value as the air ticket). The validity of the e-Voucher is one year from the date of issue. The electronic coupon can be used to rent a car, book a hotel or travel in the future. When the passenger is unsure about the trip, they should book refundable tickets, reduce the impact of the Delta cancellation fee on the refund amount.
