20th anniversary 2024 is a momentous occasion as we celebrate the 20th anniversary of DUAL Australia. From its humble beginnings, with a team of just six in Sydney, DUAL has expanded its presence across Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Perth, employing over 180 talented individuals across Australia and New Zealand. We take immense pride in the passion and commitment of our staff, reflecting our ‘people first’ culture. Many of our team members have been with us for over a decade, further illustrating the continuing culture we have fostered.
Online offering DUAL Australia offers a full suite of products, including Financial Lines, Accident & Health, Cyber Liability and General Liability. A key element of our value proposition is our online full policy life cycle quote and bind platform WebRater. In October 2021, WebRater functionality was upgraded to be the only fully client-centric online platform in the Australian market. In 2023, almost 10,000 individual users transacted over 70,000 policies on WebRater,
including over 60,000 New Business Indications. The WebRater is supported by a team of over 40 underwriters nationally who strive to provide outstanding service to ensure efficient and reliable service for our clients.
Product diversification We have a dedicated team of underwriters who specialise in technical and complex submissions that require bespoke underwriting solutions for brokers. As DUAL continues to grow towards a $500 million premium, we are excited to expand our product lines beyond the existing specialty insurance options in Financial Lines and Accident & Health. We are making significant investments to enhance our Cyber Insurance and General Liability offerings through extensive upgrades and dedicated resources, creating market-leading options on both our online platform and bespoke underwriting solutions. We will also be launching DUAL Transaction Risks, including Warranty & Indemnity and Title Insurance, and have several other exciting products in development. Stay tuned for more updates!

DUAL New Zealand has a full product suite range across Property, Motor, Liability and Cyber Insurance. In 2023, we exceeded the incredible $100 million premium mark, which was an exceptional achievement by our team. The launch of our leading Property offering in 2021 has also contributed to our recent growth. Throughout the devastating impacts of the 2023 floods, our underwriters and claims team delivered outstanding service to our broking partners to ensure their clients received the support they needed. we also broadened our appetite for our Commercial Motor Insurance offering as well as providing a new option for Niche Motor, which includes Classic and Prestige Vehicles. Like DUAL Australia, in 2019 our New Zealand team were the first to launch an online trading platform, WebRater, for Financial Lines and Liability products. WebRater now transacts almost 20,000 policies annually and has generated almost 25,000 New Business Indications across uninsured products such as Professional Indemnity and Cyber Insurance.
