Firstly,I’dliketoexpresshowexcitedIamforthisboardyear. It'sbeenaroundtwomonthssinceweofficiallystarted functioningasthenewboardandit’sbeenreallyfunsofar. Thesetwomonthshavebeenchallengingforusbutwe’re startingtogetthegistofthingsandIfeelhowmuchwecan grow.
Beingpresidentdefinitelyisn'taneasytask,butitisnothard either.It’salot,butthethingthatkeepsmegoingisseeingthe outcomeofourprojectsandhowtheyconnectpeople,whetherit beaserviceprojectwherewegivebacktoourcommunityora socialwherewemeetwithotherclubsandexchangeinformation sowecangrow.Thatreallyinspiresandmotivatesmetokeep goingandgivingeverythingI’vegotintotheclub.Thatamazing environmentKeyClubbringsmakesmewanttokeepitgoing.The boardmembershavebeenbusythesepastweekswiththe abundanceofprojectswe’vebeenandstillareexecuting,but they’vegiventheirallineverysingleoneoftheseprojectsandit's beenrightfullysuccessful.Theboardmembersallhavesuchgreat ideasthatwe’recontinuouslymakingintoprojects.Speakingof, secondly,therearesomanyupcomingprojectshappeningthat willbenewtoKeyClub.NewprojectsaresomethingIalwaysstrive todoandwiththeboardandclub,Iknowwecandosomuch.

The car wash was a fundraiser to raise money so that key clubbers could attend ICON. ICON is an international Key Club convention wherein Key Clubs all around the world gather to attend workshops, amend laws and vote for the next Key Club International board. We did the car wash at our school and we sold baked goods and coffee as well.
