ACADEMIC SUCCESS CENTRE: TUTORING AND SUPPLEMENTAL INSTRUCTION

The Academic Success Centre is a learning space on the Clearwater Campus where students can gather to share ideas, collaborate on projects, and get new perspectives on learning from our tutorial staff. Tutoring support is available on a drop-in basis and is free of charge to registered students. Supplemental Instruction (SI) provides peer facilitated group study sessions to support students to master difficult course content while modelling effective learning skills.

ACCESSIBILITY SERVICES

Through group and one-on-one instruction, Accessibility Services supports student success with learning, study and test taking strategies, and adaptive technologies. Students with learning, physical or other challenges may seek help from Learning Strategists to address barriers.

Keyano College offers up to one or two years of transferable university coursework towards a variety of degree programs. Students need to meet the admission requirements set by the receiving institution, but Keyano College offers courses that can transfer to the University of Alberta, University of Lethbridge, Mount Royal University, University of Calgary, and other successful degree-granting institutions.

For admission to Keyano College University Studies Programs, each applicant must be of age and/or normally possess an Alberta high school diploma or Canadian Provincial equivalent. Students must have an average of at least 60% in five appropriate subjects including English 30-1, and a mark of at least 50% in all subjects. Official transcripts from all secondary and post-secondary educational institutions that the student has attended are required.

Applications are submitted through ApplyAlberta. ca. Choose Keyano College as your College, enter your information, and choose your program. Please note, there is a $54 fee for the application.

3 MYKEYS

Once we have received your application, you will be invited to our Keyano College Admission Dashboard. MyKeys. Here you can upload your educational documents and other requirements.

4 OFFER

If you meet all requirements for your program, we will send you an offer for a seat in your program. Pay the $250 Admission Deposit and receive your Acceptance Email.

6 PREPARE FOR KEYANO COLLEGE

Once accepted, we encourage students to inquire into onsite Housing (when available) at housing@keyano.ca and to read their Welcome Package as it contains important information regarding your program.
