Tree Chipping Once again Claremont’s annual tree chipping fundraiser was a huge success. Over the span of two days we raised over $1200. Each tree was taken in for a recommended donation of $10 or more at the Claremont parking lot during January 5th and 6th, and from there we took care of the rest. We even made it on to Victoria Buzz’ “21 places to get your Christmas tree chipped in and around Victoria”. Thanks to everyone who helped out in our biggest fundraiser of the year!
Member(s) of the Month Congratulations goes to Minh Nguyen and Sanny Grew for being awarded member(s) of the month, for December 2018 and January 2019. Minh and Sanny have both volunteered at nearly every event during December and January, including tree chipping, Jeneece place, and recycling. They are both committed members of the team, and their contributions to the club are deeply appreciated. Thank you for the hard work Minh and Sanny!
Recycling As always, Key Club’s recycling program happens every friday after school. We meet in the math wing under the whale skeleton. It is an amazing way to build up your volunteer hours and a great way to contribute to the community. Thank you to everyone who came out to help!
