A hotel-lilke ambiance was the main concept for the space.

Carpet floors, fluted bamboo headboard, and capiz accent panels can be seen adorning the space.

In the lounge area, the Kobe chair from the Sorsogon based-designer Milo Naval of OMO furnitures is featured.

The combination of medicine mirror cabinet and LED Mirror were used to maximize the visuals of the space.

A light and warm interior was tasked to be developed for the residence.

The space uses a base of neutral paint, touches of different types of wood such as Gmelina, Narra, and Rattan.

One of the most notable works in the project was the custom irregular door made of solignum-treated Narra entrance door with streaks of carvings to create a seamless look and conceal the door edges.

The ground floor of the residence was designed with its purpose being the priority.

A Regal-Modern concept was justified with the use of Nero Marquina Black Marble and Carrara White marble, both in their shiny finish, to display cleanliness and focus to the vast floor space.

The irregular form that overheads the dining set imposed a challenge of putting a center light piece, further resolved by running a wide-profile LED light embedded in the ceiling surface.

The mirror panel following the Narra Dining table creates a visual continuity for the space and evokes extension of the area, creating a contrast to the black accent laminates in the Elevator wall.

On the second floor, common rooms can be found.

Guest rooms, study room, and Therapy room, each with their own unique design and characteristics.

The finishes of each of the rooms are solely dependent on their uses, but the common ground of the spaces were the presence of the light-colored ceiling to create a continuity among the spaces.

With a total of 7 rooms with 5 bathrooms, the style was assured to create a sense of similarity to each othher with the use of different wood finishes.

Home Theatre

On the third floor, a darker option for the finishes and furnishings were placed. Bedrooms, Home Theatre, Den, and the Master’s Bedroom can be found in here.

The construction of t he ceiling finish were determined by the existing I-beams that were a part of the main structure of the residence. Drop and cove ceilings became common in creating a clean look.

Flat ceilings became a solution for the exposed structural elements on the ceiling system.

Marble wall and floor finishes are used to create a contrast with the wood ceiling.

Comfort Room

The Master’s bedroom’s main focal point was the full upholstered wall that acts as an encasement to the niche storage. A custom brass and wood fixed book shelf can also be seen in the scene.

Overall, This residence radiates the story of the family and their lovely lavish lifestyle and how design can help translate their dreams into being.

Site visits were done to inspect the current status of the site, create punchlists, and submit job orders to the general contractor as per the design approved by the Bedroom clients for the interior works.

Due to the availability of budget, most of the furniture and fixtures in the project are customized to fit the space.

Kitchen

Dark wood and light floor finishes were the scheme for this project. Sintered stone became the focal point in the Kitchen, utilizing it on the countertop and backsplash surface. The 80cm counter serves as both breakfast and work area.

Living Area

In the Living area, the main wall was adorned by a marble panel build where the wall-mount television can be found. An L-shape sofa in light fabric build is combined with a metal and stone nesting coffee table to create an engaging conversation space. Indoor plants can also be seen to create a living contrast in the space.

The floating horizontal panel was finished with a stone wallpaper and vertical metal profiles in brass finish.

The spacious bathroom allowed for some playful lighting design. After determining the allowed electrical loads, the designer used task and cove lightings to create a curated dim space for the area.

Metal profile to be embedded in the walls are desigend to create a visual break from the stones used as wall finishes.

Some more other features of the unit are the wood laminate cabinetries in the Office, upholstered headboard in the bedroom, brass-tinted mirror panels in the dining area, and the synthetic rattan furniture from Cebu.
