He knows that partnership and collaboration are crucial to creating growth, and having served in multiple relevant positions in the past, such as county assessor, county commissioner, and the president and CEO of Jefferson County Economic Development Corporation, he has seen the plethora of ways that his community has become stronger.
Kevin McCasky Currently, Colorado is a very exciting state in terms of job growth. While 2016 slowed down somewhat, it’s picking back up in 2017 with a projected 63,000 new jobs added in 2017 alone, including positions in the education, health services, construction, and tourism industries.
Kevin McCasky The job increases in health services and education specifically correlate to the increase in new families moving to the area while opportunities in healthcare are opening up as result of the population boom in the 70s, citizens who are beginning to need more care. By 2020, half a million people will have moved to Colorado, and a projected 86% of them will move to the Front Range.
