North Arlington woman who loss-prevention officials at the Lyndhurst ShopRite had suspected was shoplifting from the store for several Saturdays, was finally nabbed after she allegedly tried to shoplift again this past Saturday, Det. Lt. Vincent Auteri, the Lyndhurst Police Department’s public-information officer said. According to Auteri: At approximately 8:22 am, Saturday, Aug. 28, ShopRite loss prevention contacted the LPD to report they had determined a woman, described only as a slim, older female, with a brown and a dark colored backpack, later iden-

items. As she attempted to leave the store, Rivera was stopped by the loss-prevention officer and placed under arrest without incident by Officers Rivera and Villani. Rivera was charged with shoplifting and released on a complaint summons. Charges for the previous shopliftings are pending while they are investigated.
