abriel De Los Santos (seen at left singing) is like a lot of people who live in Kearny these days. He’s concerned for his family. He’s very concerned for his younger sister. He’s concerned for his friends. He’s concerned for his country. Like so many, you might say he’s even a little on edge over it all. And, oh, did we mention he’s 16? De Los Santos, you might recall, has been featured on the pages of this newspaper before. At a very young age, he’s taken the stage by storm with a most incredible singing voice. You’ve probably even seen him sing in person — especially if you went to the December Christmas Tree lighting at Kearny Town Hall. He and his little sister put on a rendition of “Feliz Navidad” that might even make José Feliciano jealous. But in the midst of all of this world’s current chaos, De Los Santos continues to do amazing things, performing on stages all over the tri-state area. Hudson COVID-19 testing center now open in Secaucus
Officials stress: If you do not have an appointment, you will not be seen for an exam

udson County will open a designated testing center for COVID-19 at Hudson Regional Hospital in Secaucus on Tuesday, March 24, Hudson County Executive
Thomas DeGise announced Monday, March 23. The testing center will provide by-appointment service only and officials have stressed — if you do not have an appointment, you will not be seen under any circumstances. Said appointments may be made by calling
(201) 388-1097. (This call-in line was to open at noon, Monday, March 23.) The testing site will operate from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday to Friday. It will also be able to test first responders to expedite their return, if they’re found to be negative, so they may continue to perform important public-safety
duties. “Hudson Regional Hospital has the medical staff, facilities and circulation capacity to allow us to best respond to the need for COVID-19 testing,” DeGise said. “In addressing this crisis, See TESTING, Page 16
