The MBKU Readiness Microcredential is designed for students who want to make targeted competency areas. This Microcredential prepares students for post-graduate professional life by developing their resumes/CVs/ cover letters, building their personal brand, and practicing their communication in professional settings such as interviews and salary negotiations. Students will be prepared for the transition from graduate student to an engaged and influential member of their field.

The Leadership Summit is open to all students who are interested developing their leadership and communication skills. This annual Summit helps students explore leadership principles and ideas, as well as basic theories and models of leadership.

During the summit, students will have access to multiple keynote presentations, interactive and experiential activities, and discussions on how to get involved with leadership on campus. The the Leadership Development Certificate.

The mission of the Peer Advising Program is to provide informed student perspectives about MBKU to support incoming students during orientation and throughout their first year of their programs. In addition to the benefit of our new students, the Peer at MBKU an opportunity to improve their personal and professional skills as well as explore leadership roles while helping their peers.

Peer Advisors play a critical role in helping our New Students feel connected at MBKU. A survey conducted over the past 3 years has shown an increasingly majority of students that agree with the program’s helpfulness in conjunction with University New Student Orientation (UNSO)

The mission of Student Government Association (SGA) is to advocate on behalf of the student body with the goals of enhancing the quality of education and student life on campus, to foster a sense of community within the University, and to advance the growth of interprofessional relationships in accordance with the evolving needs of today ’s healthcare.

Our three University Student Committees conduct business on behalf of the Student Association and hold a number of events for all MBKU students.
