Each setting has been chosen to best show the unique features and great lighting effects you can achieve. We hope to inspire your design with our new collections and range extensions.

Here at Endon Lighting, design is at the heart of what we do. Our lighting is designed and carefully selected by our team of experienced British designers for domestic and commercial use across Great Britain and Europe. Starting as a hand drawing in our Poole studio, this is then manufactured by our carefully selected partners around the globe.

We have further developed our exciting range of Indian lighting utilising a blend of traditional craftsmanship and techniques used in India for centuries.

Our carefully selected lighting ranges undergo many processes including sand casting, hand polishing and hand applied hammered finishes in order to achieve intricate, beautifully finished lighting pieces which are truly handcrafted.

The dedication to detail, skilled workmanship and quality checking ensure we deliver lighting which is both unique and timeless. Indian lighting pieces can be identified throughout the catalogue by the ‘handcrafted in India’ logo.

When thinking about lamp choice it’s important to understand that every light source has two distinct elements.

The first part is brightness which is measured in Lumens, for example candle light gives a soft glow whereas a spot light gives an intense bright light

Each of our products featured within this catalogue have appropriate icons displayed against them.

Our handy icon guide helps to explain what each of our icons mean

The second part is the colour temperature which is measured in Kelvin, this is how cool or warm the light is.

Low Kelvin numbers indicate warmer yellow light colours and high Kelvin numbers indicate cooler, whiter colours.

LEDS EXPLAINED Technology has progressed further, to a point where there is a direct LED equivalent to existing halogen and incandescent lamps. The future is bright too; new technology will see brighter LEDs using even less power than they currently do

Filament The strips of phosphor have tiny LED chips embedded inside. When they are lit, they shine in a similar way to the original incandescent lamps. They are perfect for products with crystal and opal or clear glass shades

Benefits ENERGY EFFICIENCY The energy saving from an LED lamp is substantial; compared to an incandescent lamp, you will only use around 20% of the energy. They are even more efficient than fluorescent lamps too, saving 20% on the running cost for a similar light output

MUCH LONGER LIFESPAN LED lamps have a much longer lifetime, on average 15 times longer than the original incandescent lamps, so they don’t need to be replaced as often

Out door Zones If you are looking a fitting a light in a porch or soffit then you can use lights that are rated at IP23 as the property will give a certain amount of protection. In the majority of locations on outside walls or in a garden a rating of IP44 on your outdoor light will be sufficient. However for lights installed in the ground a rating of IP65 is a recommended minimum

When using halogen lamps make sure that the dimmer is rated at least twice the total wattage of the lamps to be dimmed, e.g. if using 3 x 50w GU10 halogen (150W), then make sure the dimmer is rated at 300W.
