Amman has a wide range of birds, flora and fauna despite being a built-up city in the desert.
All the cats and birds were found within a 1km walk from my house in second circle, Jabal Amman. This is a heavily populated area near the city centre, with no green areas. Various birds were seen around the area, including crows, Palestinian sunbirds, laughing doves and white-spectacled bulbuls. cats mainly live on the streets, and find food in the many bins found there.
