Editor’s note

Dear colleagues,

Kenyatta National Hospital celebrates World Day of the Sick every year and this year, the Hospital engaged a higher gear and carried out a whole week’s celebration dubbed ‘KNH Patient Week’ on February 21- 25, 2022, themed ‘KNH remembering patients through charity.’

The charity activities included blood donation, free screening services for blood sugar and blood pressure, Covid-19 vaccination, adopt a bed drive and adopting NHIF registration for needy patients.

The culmination of the charity activities was on February 24, 2022, with the celebration of the Day of the Sick in a Holy Mass at Shrine of Mary Help of the Sick, Don Bosco Catholic Church by KNH staff and selected patients.

We thank all partners and participants for their various acts of healing through prayer and charity.
