UPTOWN Sunset Magazine calls Uptown one of Denver’s hippest neighborhoods with lively restaurants, chic shops, and a cherry, progressive vibe. Berenice is the President of the Ladies of Charity at Holy Ghost Church, who carry out fundraising events throughout the year that help financially support organizations that are in much need such as: House of Gabriel, Saint Vincent, Baby Boutique, and Father Goody’s Safe Haven.

Andrea provides meals each month through her church, Most Precious Blood, to The Delores Project. The Delores Project provides safe, comfortable shelter and personalized services for unaccompanied women and transgender individuals experiencing homelessness.

Amanda is currently on the finance committee of Community Shares of Colorado & Invest in Kids. She can also be seen improving our neighborhoods while volunteering for Extreme Community Makeover. She also spends time going door-to-door with the local chapter of the American Red Cross & installs fire alarms in homes that may not have them.

Laura volunteers with the Denver Hospice, working with patients and their families in their inpatient care center, or traveling to facilities or people’s homes, helping patients be comfortable in their final days. Leaving this world should be as pain-free and peaceful as possible, and that is what hospice provides.

Edie was the President of Cancer League of Colorado and the chair for their annual Hope Ball. She is deeply involved in raising funds for cancer research and supports this 100% volunteer organization. She also serves on the board for Volunteers of America for their Western Fantasy gala. Edie has also sold two homes for VOA without commission.

Bob serves on the board for Project PAVE, whose mission is to empower youth to end the cycle of relationship violence through therapy and family support services, violence prevention education, and youth leadership. All Project PAVE services are youthfocused and offered for free to the community.


KENTWOOD DTC Grateful for the benefits arts education has had on her own children, Jennifer volunteers to bring arts education to kids throughout the Denver area. As President-elect of the Denver Center Alliance at the DCPA, she works on some of their signature fundraisers like Hattitide & Saturday Night Alive. She also volunteers for the Denver School of the Arts and Le Bal de Ballet.
