7th Avenue Historic District Denver’s Seventh Avenue Historic District is among the most interesting and beautiful neighborhoods in the Mile High City. The district was home to the Summer White House during the Eisenhower administration and also home to the inventor of the ice cream soda. Built primarily between the 1890s and the 1930s, the Seventh Avenue Historic District is the largest historic district in Denver with its boundaries stretching from Logan Street to Colorado Avenue, and from 6th Avenue to 8th Avenue. The 7th Avenue Parkway was created in 1912 and rose from the peak of the City Beautiful movement that included an entire system of city parks and parkways. As development continued, larger mansions were built on corners and facing the parkway while more modest homes, including duplexes and flats, were built to the north and south.

Kentwood Cares Kentwood Real Estate is a regular and avid supporter of HomeAid Colorado, an organization devoted to building new lives for Colorado's homeless through housing and community outreach. HomeAid teams up with local home builders, trade partners, real estate entities and homeless service providers to supply essentials and build housing for the homeless. Essentials for Young Lives Drive – Kentwood collects diapers, wipes and formula to be

distributed to family shelters across the state. The drive is held annually from Mother's Day to Father's Day.

Essentials CareKit Drive - Kentwood collects travel-sized toiletry items including soap,

shampoo, conditioner, toothbrushes, toothpaste and deodorant. These items are then assembled into CareKits and distributed to emergency shelter and outreach teams during the month of November for Homelessness Awareness Month.
