Alumni Scrapbook The Kentucky Wesleyan Alumni Association hosts an average of 40 events a year throughout the Owensboro region, the Commonwealth and the nation to connect alumni and friends with the College and one another. On Wednesdays, We Wear Purple The Alumni Association's Board of Directors introduced Purple Wednesdays to connect our alumni across the digital divide. Each week, alumni and friends are encouraged to wear purple and post their photos on social media using the hashtags #PurpleWednesday and #TheWesleyanWay. We encourage alumni to join the fun and show their Panther pride! Participants are entered in weekly drawings. Inaugural Alumni Give Back Day First Thursday Fun Owensboro First Thursdays are back and better than ever! Our alumni and friends have had a blast reconnecting with and meeting fellow alumni in the Owensboro area while enjoying delicious food. Nearly 50 alumni and friends joined us on campus in June for our first Alumni Give Back Day. Our volunteers set up classrooms, wrote letters to prospective students, ripped up old carpet and refreshed landscaping at the Activity Hall.Their two-hour contributions had a $2,000+ impact! We look forward to making this an annual event!
