Eric H. Sheffield USA / 2018 / 93 min / DCP / English / Bittersweet Comedy
Wyatt, a cynical narcoleptic, wants to be a journalist but all he's managed to accomplish is a lowly temp job at the ultra-hip clickbait company, Slice. He notices a mysterious girl named Fern living on his block in an 88' Toyota Tercel hatchback and decides to meet her in the hopes of writing a story that Slice might publish. Fern's father went missing and was assumed dead when she was a small child in Montana. After receiving a cryptic letter from a stranger named Dr. Green, telling her that her father’s alive and living in Los Angeles, she goes looking for him while sleeping in her car at night. Together, the two set off on a journey to find Fern's elusive dad among the derelict corners of the city, while developing an interest for one another along the way. Writer & Producer: Eric H.
