LIGHT BOX

This project was one of the first ones that I did in the school of architecture and focused on how the evolution of a shape can create different patterns, feelings, and textures using shadows and light. The shape I used was based on a section cut of a building. I then found different ways to manipulate that shape until I found one that I felt would play with light in an interesting way. After cutting out each piece in the evolution, I made them sit at a progressive angle using a continuous, folding piece of foam core.
