FOREWARD

Architecture has always been in my blood from drawing the floor plans of my dream home when I was 6 to the fact that my great grandpa was an architect who taught at KU and worked at Black and Veatch. Going to KU and interning at Black and Veatch really makes it feel like I’m following in his footsteps. He was an artist and just like him, art is my outlet.

Art is how I express myself. I hope that through architecture, I will be able to help communities express themselves and connect to eachother in an eco-friendly, innovative, and meaningful way. I plan to spend my 5th year in the M.Arch program in Paris interning and absorbing the culture, art, and architecture so that I can have broader scope of how I look at the world and how I can help change it for the better.
