Megan Duszynski, Director of Catering leads a fantastic team Growing up in Long Grove, Megan decided at age five that she wanted to plan events and never changed her mind She graduated from Iowa State University with a degree in Hospitality Management After graduating, she started her Event
Planning career at Biaggi's in Deer Park She then spent eleven years planning events and managing memberships for The Quadrangle Club at the University of Chicago Megan joined the team in early 2022 and has loved returning home to Long Grove. Megan loves spending time with her husband, Michael, two children Lily and Calvin, and two dogs, Sheldon and Gracey

GRAND BALLROOM
Our elegant ballroom offers seating for up to 220 guests, featuring beautiful views of our property and French doors leading to a outdoor veranda overlooking the golf course
CEREMONY
Royal Melbourne can accommodate a wedding ceremony in our beautiful ballroom, outdoor veranda or in the wedding garden
The ceremony set-up fee is $1,000 Rehearsal time will be coordinated Photos may be taken on Royal Melbourne Grounds
MENU TASTING
Wedding plans can quickly fill the schedule, but your menu tasting is one of the best parts of the process
Sample two salads, and four entrées, reflective of the Club’s preparations that your guests will experience the night of your wedding This also allows the Director of Catering to become more familiar with your expectations and schedule of events on your wedding day
The two-hour menu tasting includes: Complimentary tasting for up to six guests, additional people may attend either “sampling” from the six entrees ordered or adding additional selections at an additional charge The additional guests may also choose to order from the a la carte restaurant menu at entrée prices
Scheduled by appointment with the Director of Catering two to four months prior to your wedding date
Hosted at Royal Melbourne’s Restaurant Wednesdays & Thursdays at 3:00pm

FINAL GUEST COUNT & PAYMENT
14 days prior to your wedding date, your final guest count is due and an invoice will be generated
The final balance including service charges, applicable taxes and other charges is due 14 days prior to event date
