An editorial project that documents a student's journey to find and record tales of a haunted lighthouse, created in response to the 2021-22 ISTD brief, "Lighthouses of the World." The student in question and the reader get much more than they bargained for as the book unfolds, unearthing ancient ghosts and folklore that long predate the lighthouse that sits upon the titular Bull Rock. The main text of the book is occasionally accompanied by smaller red inserts, which include the student's commentary on the subject matter. The book, like many of the tales that lie within its pages, is conversational in tone and is meant to read almost like a dialogue between the reader, the student, and the main body text. The printed book is A5 in size and is meant to look and feel like a rugged travel journal, transporting the reader to the Beara Peninsula as they learn of its ancient past and haunted present.
