QUICK FACTS
PARK HILL • 2017 SEASON COACHING STAFF TROJANS
Coach Josh Hood enters his fifth season at the helm of the Trojan football with a strong tradition in football winning a state title as recently as 2003 under former Park Hill coach Greg Reynolds. Coach Hood most recently spent five years on the staff of the very successful Staley program working under Fred Bouchard where they won a championship in 2011. In 2013 when Hood took the reins at Park Hill he expressed his excited about the possibilities. “I have known Greg Reynolds for several years now and I am excited to have a chance to revive some old traditions and start new beginnings. I am trying to put my personal touch on every aspect of the program while coordinating the offense for our program. It is an exciting challenge and I am honored to lead the Trojans on the field.”. He is well on his way with a semi-final appearance in 2014.

PARK HILL • THIS IS PARK HILL PARKVILLE & KANSAS CITY, MISSOURI TROJANS Kansas City is the largest city in the state of Missouri by population. It is the 23rd-largest city by total area in the United States and the 37th largest by population in the United States. Founded in the 1830s as a Missouri River port due to its confluence with the Kansas River. Kansas City was originally named after the river, Kansas, but this caused confusion after the Kansas Territory was established in 1854. The name Kansas City was assigned to help people distinguish the two. The Greater Kansas City area is made up of 11 counties, covering two states. Also, more than 2 million people call Greater Kansas City home. The city is considered the #1 inland trade zone and is also the second-largest rail center in the United States. Kansas City is famous for its barbecue. In fact, it’s considered the barbecue capital of the world with dozens of restaurants offering the famous cuisine. Furthermore, Kansas City, known as the “City of Fountains” is home to more than 200 picturesque water fountains. The city claims to have the 2nd-most fountains in the world, only behind Rome. The fountains at Kaufman Stadium, home of the Kansas City Royals, are the largest privately funded fountains in the world.
