interlink LOCATION: BROOKLYN, NEW YROK WORK YEAR: 2021 TEAM MEMBERS: SHIH-TING HUANG JIAMING GENG
The main idea of our project is “Interlink”, to link and connect the human space with the machinery space. Our site is located at the waterside of brooklyn navy yard with a ball field and grass space in front of it. Several ferry stops and train stop around it. The shape of our massing mimics the shape of the vent stack, the building mass is lifted off the ground to create public space and access for the community. Carving away the existing ground and extending the building into the water for better views and functionality. A central courtyard is not only to allow more light and air into the building but also the place where all three programs (WTE, Recycling, Nightclub) overlap and intersect.

AIR MATTER LOCATION: SARA D ROOSEVELT PARK, NEW YROK WORK YEAR: 2022 INDIVIDUAL WORK
Inspired by Hans Haacke and Thomas Saraceno, this project want to create a series of experiences with air through different forms and materials of the architecture. Each dealing with a different perspective and sense of air. The site is Sara D Roosevelt park on the lower east side. This series of experiments contain five buildings, and these five buildings sit along with the park.
The first one lets people get the sense of air through material. The building’s materials are glass, copper and concrete, as time goes by the air would change the color of the materials. The materials capture the moment of the air. The form of the building also reminds people of the flow of the air, as they walk into the building they can see the three materials.
The second one is a semi open pavilion, material used is fabric(Polyester) and metal mesh. The reason to choose these two materials is because they have totally different reactions to the air. When wind blows the fabric will change its shape while the mesh is still. People can see the different materials that react to air differently.
The third one is a lighter piece, four piece sculpture like mesh walls creating an open breathing space, people can climb up to the smaller mesh walls to get different feelings for the airspace.
The forth one is dealing with the acoustic, how air can transmit sound. The building is kind of like a Swirl shape and metaphor of the wind eye, the material of the building is wood which can enhance the acoustic sound. So this building is a great place for performance where they perform at the top and people can enjoy the performance at ground level.
The final one trying to lift up the park, extend it into the sky as you walk on to the ramp. You can feel the air on another level and also on the top one there is a field of long grass that is waving with the air.

communit y pacer LOCATION: BROOKLYN, NEW YROK WORK YEAR: 2020 TEAM MEMBERS: SHIH-TING HUANG KANG WANG
Located at Brooklyn New York, the Farragut housing has seats in an awkward situation where the existing cannot satisfy the increasing functions and activities needs of people. In response to the need for leisure, recreation, and landscape, our project brings vibrant and diverse into the neighborhood. A circulation path with bicycle lanes weaving throughout the Farragut and our building, with the stops of different recreation spaces such as rock climbing, skateboarding, zip-line, etc. Also, as a reverse of "Towers in the park", we want to create "Park in the tower" . There are several green roofs in our building, and also outdoor public space and a greenhouse for people in the community to enjoy the natural environment. There are places that would allow people to trade their stuff, and the cultural exchange spot could help people to make more friends. Overall, this project wants to shape a living space that manifests the rights of the people in the community and improves the urban environment.

Cincinnati.
Most of Over-the-Rhine's ornate brick buildings were built by German immigrants from 1865 to the 1880s. The architecture of Over-the-Rhine reflects the diverse styles of the late nineteenth centur y—simple vernacular, muted Greek Revival, Italianate and Queen Anne. Most of the buildings in Over-theRhine are one of these styles, but there are other odd balls as well. Art Deco is represented by the American Building o n Ce n t r a l Pa r k w a y, t h e G e r m a n i a Building at Twelfth and Walnut streets is ironically one of the few examples of German ornamentation in the neighborhood, Music Hall's mixture of styles is best described as Venetian Gothic, there are a handful of buildings with Gothic architecture, and the new

OTHER WORKS
This project is form my Film & Mixed Media seminar, it is a propaganda project. The theme I want address is “Love
myself ”. At some aspects, it’s harder to loving yourself than loving someone else. We always put harder standards
on ourselves. We keep hiding ourselves into different masks to meet the standard how others expect us to be,
and started seeing ourselves through their eyes. We might hate the fact that we are hiding behind the masks and
conceal the real faces of ourselves. However, all the masks we are wearing is actually still ourselves, there are tens and
hundreds of ourselves in us, and we need to embrace and welcome all of that, because all of them is part of us. The
me from yesterday, the me from today and the me for tomorrow, each of them is my existence. Even the scars that
were formed from my mistakes are my very own constellations. From now on, try to forgive yourself, trust yourself
and love yourself.
