A seven night tour of the Wairarapa, such an interesting and varied destination, filled with history, historic homesteads, five small special towns, including Greytown and Martinborough, an amazing wine district as well as the coast and Lake Ferry.

Our music festival will be presented by our three tenors, Bonnie, Derek and Kalauni TBC with Paul on piano. They will serenade you with numerous musical events at fabulous locations including Tribute to Mario Lanza! at the historic Martinborough Town Hall! Classics by Candlelight at a historic church, Paul in Recital! at a historic house, Viva Italia at a Vineyard, and Just an Old Fashioned Love Song at our exclusive hotel.

7 nights exploring the Wairarapa region with our three tenors and pianist Paul, staying at Peppers Parehua Martinborough, where we will have exclusive use of this lovely resort.

Other exceptional experiences include a foodies tour, wine tasting, seal and lighthouse tour, Tui Brewery tasting and tour, vineyards, Stonehenge Aotearoa tour and talk, time to explore the cute towns of the region, shopping and a garden tour!

SUNDAY 1 MAY 2022 (L, D) - Peppers Parehua Martinborough (7 nights) Peppers Parehua is set on a large country estate with sweeping gardens and panoramic views of the Wairarapa wine-growing region.

Highlights Include: • Visit Parliament today for a tour and talk, followed by lunch at the famous Backbencher Gastropub, frequented by our politicians.

Transfer to Martinborough region to our lovely hotel with time to settle in.

•

Dinner and introductory concert at the hotel this evening from our tenors entitled: Just an Old Fashioned Love Song featuring the most romantic songs through the ages.

MONDAY 2 MAY 2022 (B, L) Highlights Include: • We will enjoy a lovely Wairarapa autumn garden visit, famous in the region.

Enjoy a lunch with a house and garden tour at Brancepeth House, a colonial homestead and gardens owned by the original family since 1856.

We also feature our wonderful pianist Paul: Paul in Recital!

After our full day there is free time for your own dinner arrangements this evening.

TUESDAY 3 MAY 2022 (B, L, D) Highlights Include: • A visit and tour of Stonehenge Aotearoa, an open-sky observatory inspired by and built on a similar scale to the famous Stonehenge in England.

Lunch, wine tasting and a talk at the Tirohana Estate, Martinborough.

Dinner at Luna Estate winery.

Lake Ferry (Lake Onoke)

WEDNESDAY 4 MAY 2022 (B, L) Highlights Include: • A seaside tour where we will see seal colonies and the Cape Palliser Lighthouse and the small fishing village, Ngawi.

Situated on the shores of Lake Onoke, we enjoy lunch at the Lake Ferry Hotel, one of the oldest licensed hotels in New Zealand.

•

We set off this evening to a historic church for our concert: Classics by Candlelight, sure to bring a tear to our eye.

THURSDAY 5 MAY 2022 (B, D) Highlights Include: • Off for our foodies tour which includes a cheese shop, Schoc Chocolates plus other food and wine experiences and time to wander the shops in Greytown.

Dinner and concert at Coney Wines, Martinborough where we transport you to Italy (even if we cannot be there ourselves) with Viva Italia.

FRIDAY 6 MAY 2022 (B, L, D) Highlights Include: • A tour and visit to the National Wildlife Centre at Mount Bruce to see the Takahe and other rare birds.

Tour and lunch at the famous Tui Brewery.

•

Casual dinner at the hotel this evening and the movie starring Mario Lanza, The Great Caruso.

SATURDAY 7 MAY 2022 (B, D) Highlights Include: • Free time over the day to relax, enjoy the pool and surroundings or plan your own tour of the area.

Final night at the historic Martinborough Town Hall. Our tenors will sing a concert entitled A Tribute to Mario Lanza.

SUNDAY 8 MAY 2022 (B) Stonehenge Aotearoa

We transfer back to Wellington Airport, filled with scenery, history, food, wine and great music.
