Dear Friends,

INSIGHTS

Ranching is a great life and a great way to make a living. We are in the most profitable times in history to be in this business. Market fundamentals point to something we rarely see—sustained strength that could last several years.

Why? The reasons are clear:

1. Strong Demand. Consumers love high-quality beef, and they’re willing to pay for it. In less than 20 years, we’ve moved from 55% Choice & Prime to nearly 85%, and production of Prime beef has quadrupled to 12%. At R.A. Brown Ranch, our carcass test herd recently graded 78% Prime.

2. Low Supply. U.S. cowherd numbers are at record lows. Add in the closure of the Mexican border and limited imports from other countries as well as the fact that global supplies are tight. It will take several years to change the global supply and we still haven’t seen strong evidence that heifer retention has started yet.

“PAPER PLATES SERVE A MEAL; FINE CHINA SERVES A HERITAGE.”

3. Record Prices Expected to Stay. Economists predict high cattle prices for at least two to five years. With phenomenal grass growing weather and today’s calf to bred-female price ratio among the best in history, it looks like a good time to rebuild cow herds.

4. Produce What the Customer Wants. When supply eventually rises again, the gap between high-quality cattle and everything else will only widen. That’s why it’s wise to invest some of your record profits in genetics and management that will stand

the test of time.

At R.A. Brown Ranch, we believe our role is to help you do just that. Our focus is on cattle that balance fertility, efficiency, and profitability. Goldilocks-sized cows—not too big, not too small, but just right—fit the environment, rebreed on time, and raise efficient calves. Marbling continues to be the most reliable driver of premiums, and we see no reason to stop selecting for it. Efficiency matters, whether it’s reproductive or feed efficiency, because profit continues to resonate around “doing more with less.”

Our bulls are developed for longevity, on a high-fiber, low-starch diet that strengthens their rumens, joints, and feet. None have had their feet trimmed. We want them to thrive on grass and go to work in real-world ranch conditions with your cows.

It is a tradition to give fine china and other long lasting momentos as wedding gifts. I have heard it said: Paper plates serve a meal; fine china serves a heritage. Thirty-four years ago, people blessed us with keepsakes we still enjoy, but more importantly with their prayers and presence. While planning our honeymoon we called a friend in the real estate business searching for a great place to stay while in Montana. He said he had the ideal spot and he assured us: “the price will be right.”

We arrived to find the most immaculate home with gorgeous mountain views, a wood burning stove and flowing hot springs that filled a hot tub. Worried that the price would be well out of our budget, he simply said, “Just leave the woodpile a little higher.” That life-lesson stuck with us — always leave things better than you found them.

I’m thankful for the four generations before us who did just that. And I’m thankful for the chance to work

FROM DONNELL

alongside our children and grandchildren as they learn the same lessons. Our ranch is a living laboratory where they experience birth, growth, maturity, and sometimes even loss in a variety of ways—and where they learn that hard work, wise decisions, and faith build character and strong communities.

We invite you to join us October 7–8 here in Throckmorton. Come share a chuckwagon meal, visit with our crew, and see nearly 1,000 head of bulls, females, and horses designed to improve your profitability. Join us for lunch Tuesday and stay for our educational program covering market updates, screw worm status, replacement heifer selection with DNA tools, EPDs made simple, and our Rancher’s Sustainable Angus Alliance calf buy-back program. Whether you are a longtime customer or considering us for the first time, thank you for letting our family be part of yours. Together, let’s leave the woodpile higher.

“Keeping the ranch in the family and the family in the ranch.”

AIR TRANSPORTATION: Wichita Falls: 75 miles, Abilene: 75 miles, Dallas/Ft Worth: 150 miles. For those with private planes, Olney, TX is 30 miles away and has three 5100’ runways. The N/S is lighted. They also have E/W and fuel availability 24 hours. Please call us well in advance if you need us to pick you up.

HEALTH: 1) To insure that our cattle are healthy and to provide

you with healthy cattle, we have a strict vaccination, herd health and biosecurity protocol. 2) All cattle have been VACCINATED to prevent Blackleg, IBR, PI3, BVD, BRSV, Vibrio, Lepto and Pinkeye. 3) All bulls in this catalog are CERTIFIED AS VIRGINS unless otherwised marked. 4) INTERSTATE HEALTH PAPERS will be provided for animals going to states that only require the specifications listed above. Any additional testing (i.e. Brucellosis or TB) will begin after the sale and those interstate health papers will be ready after all testing is completed. If you plan to haul your own cattle after the sale across the state line, please check with your state veterinarian to make sure your state will receive cattle from us without additional testing.

FERTILITY

GUARANTEE:

All bulls and females are guaranteed breeders as described in the “Terms & Conditions” at the back of this catalog. All of these bulls passed a breeding soundness exam (BSE) by one of our Veterinarians. None of us can afford a bull not doing his job. Bulls can become temporarily infertile due to fever, excessive heat, injury, diet (whole cottonseed or poor diet), etc. We have experienced this with bulls we purchased with breeding soundness exams and took for granted that they were still ready to breed cows. We

recommend that you fertility test all your bulls 30 days prior to each breeding season every year. If you find a bull infertile prior to or during his first 60 days with cows, please contact us immediately. After a second failed test, at least two weeks after the first, we will replace the bull or give you credit, according to the “Terms & Conditions” in the back of this catalog. Getting your cows pregnant is a high priority for us.

DELIVERY of BULLS and FEMALES: Please see the detailed information on our Delivery Service, pages 12-13.

INSURANCE: Mortality Insurance will be available for purchase on sale day from Ag Defense Risk Management / Shari Holloway (pg 216).

FUTURE CARE: We appreciate your investment in R.A. Brown Ranch genetics and want to make some recommendations to help you protect your investment. These bulls are ready to go straight in with your cows; however, the stress of the sale, hauling, and relocating these animals can weaken their immune system; therefore, we recommend that you check them daily for a couple of weeks. If you don’t put your bull in with cows right away, we recommend that you put your bull with another animal so that he is not by himself. Cattle are herd instinct animals and feel more comfortable with a friend. If you plan to mix your new purchase with other bulls, we recommend

that you do not do it in a small pen, but rather the larger the pasture the better so that they have room to get away from each other. If you have to mix bulls, it is better to mix several at one time that have not been together, than to just put one or two into a large group. We recommend vaccinating for Vibrio/Lepto and fertility testing your bulls 30 days prior to the breeding season each year. 18 month old bulls can be used very effectively when turned out with one cow per month of age (18 months - breed 18 females). Remember they are still growing and losing their baby teeth so they may need some extra care after their first breeding season.

BUYING OPTIONS: Obviously we prefer for you to be with us on sale day but if you are unable to make it you have three options: 1. Log on to DV Auction & bid on the internet (see info at top of next page). 2. Personalized Bull Shopper. We will be glad to find you the bulls you need, within your budget. To utilize this option, like many of our longtime customers, please call Donnell Brown as soon as possible so that we can discuss how we can help you. 3. Customer Service Representatives. These men will be here and have studied the bulls. They can also put their eyes on specific cattle for you.

MORE INFORMATION: We want you to have all of the info you need to make the best decisions. To view more information, you can visit our website at www.RABrownRanch. com to sort the animals and/or view their data in spreadsheet form.

Also, we have included registration numbers on the registered animals so that you can look them up on the internet. If you want more information about these bulls and/ or females than what is in this catalog or on the web, please call and ask prior to Sale Day. In an effort to simplify the process, we have included the information in this catalog that we believe to be the most useful tools in describing genetic merit of each animal for economically relevant traits. To contact Donnell or Kelli Brown, you may call the ranch at 940-849-0611 or email us at kelli@rabrownranch. com.

STARS

Our exclusive Star Rating System is designed to help summarize all of the data and simplify your selection process. It takes into account all information available, along with some “cowboy common sense” to rate each bull for the 5 most economically relevant traits: Calving Ease, Growth, Carcass, Cow Herd and Efficiency. These ratings are consistent throughout the catalog so that you can compare all bulls across breeds. EPDs and Indexes are the most precise tools for selection within a breed and now can be used to compare Red Angus, Black Red Angus & SimAngus, however, EPDs are not comparable across all breeds yet. Angus are different.

The more stars a bull has, the better he is for that trait. Each bull is rated from 0 to 5 stars in each trait. Our Five-Star rating is the same as it has been in the past and designates elite bulls in each category. For Growth, Carcass, Cow Herd & Efficiency, a bull has to be in the top half of the industry to even get 1 star. A Five-Star rating is only given to the cream of the crop, the ultimate example of that trait. Others have tried to emulate our system, but most imitations simply use some stars as a marketing tool to help them sell what they have rather then helping you buy what you need.

WHAT’S BEHIND THE RATING?

Use the individual EPDs and their respective percentile ranks to most accurately determine which bulls can help you best meet your specific needs. For example when looking at the Growth Rating, if you sell your calves at weaning time then you should look more specifically at WW EPD. For Carcass, if you need more quality grade then put more emphasis on Marbling EPD.

Heifer Calving Ease Rating

Growth Rating

Carcass Rating

Rating

You may notice that our Calving Ease ratings are much more conservative than what many breeders and breed associations may recommend for use on heifers. We believe it is better to be safe than sorry. This doesn’t mean that you never have to assist one at calving, because sometimes calves are born backwards or have a leg turned back. Even the best and most proven Calving Ease sires in the industry will get a big calf every once in a while. Our goal is to help eliminate calving difficulty to the best of our ability and therefore help you manage risk.

COMPLETE Stars is a new category that we implemented this year to help identify the bulls that do the most things right for all economically relevant traits. The more stars in this category means they are the MVPMost Valuable Producer. We calculate this star category with a formula that

combines all other star categories plus all of the selection indexes like $Profit, $Ranch, $Combined, API, TI, GM etc. It could also be called All-Purpose, Comprehensive or Total Merit. Our Cow Herd stars are designed to help you select bulls that will produce better replacement females that are easier keeping, medium to smaller sized and have a medium milk production with better fertility and Stayability. Research and experience tell us that these females are more likely to stay producing calves in your herd for many years and therefore improve your profitability.

This Star Rating System is simply a tool to help you quickly find the bulls that fit your needs. Then you can take more time studying the details to find the bulls that best fit your more specific needs.

RETAINED INTEREST

WHAT AND WHY WE RETAIN A SEMEN INTEREST IN EVERY BULL.

OWNERSHIP - We are selling full possession, full salvage value and 1/2 revenue-sharing semen interest in every bull in this sale. This means the bull is totally in your control in how you want to handle him plus you get 100% of the salvage value of the bull. We are retaining 1/2 revenue-sharing semen interest in every bull in this sale. This simply gives us the right to half of the semen sales revenue from the bull if at some time in the future, semen sales become a reality.

If you choose to sell the bull to anyone else, R.A. Brown Ranch (and Cooperators) retain our semen interest in the bull. If you wish to buy a bull in this sale and would prefer that we did not retain a semen interest, then please talk with us about it prior to the sale and we will consider selling the bull(s) to you without us retaining an interest and make that agreement in writing prior to the sale. The buyer may elect to purchase as much additional semen interest as you desire by paying the additional prorated amount. For example you can purchase 2/3 or 3/4 semen interest by paying an additional 33% or 50% of the final bid price respectively.

If a buyer is not interested in marketing the semen from a bull then R.A. Brown Ranch reserves the right to collect a semen bank on the bull at our cost and the buyer’s convenience. That semen would be 100% owned by the R.A. Brown Ranch for our use or marketing.

EXCLUSIVE SEMEN MARKETING RIGHTS - The buyer may elect to purchase exclusive semen marketing rights on any bull in this sale by paying double the final bid price on the bull

at the time of the sale. In the event that the buyer elects to purchase exclusive semen marketing rights, then R.A. Brown Ranch retains the right of first refusal on the purchase of natural service rights of the bull if the original buyer decides to sell the natural service rights and or possession of the bull anytime during his lifetime.

REALISTICALLY SPEAKING - It is unlikely that large amounts of semen will be sold from very many bulls. However, the reason we are keeping an interest in every bull, is that we want to keep it simple and we have great bulls scattered throughout the sale. The bulls that do develop a market for large amounts of semen can be very financially rewarding; therefore, as a breeder of some of the best seedstock in the industry, we want to share with you in these bulls. Even bulls sold to commercial herds may become popular at a later time, especially if carcass data is collected on their calves. We want to be a great partner with you.

SEMEN RIGHTS - Buyers receive semen rights proportional to the interest purchased. Therefore if you purchase a 1/2 revenue-sharing semen interest then you are entitled to 1/2 of the semen collections at cost provided that you indicate that you want semen prior to collection. If you choose to collect semen from one of these bulls as an “insurance policy” for your own use, that semen is 100% yours, but before any semen is collected on any bull in this sale, R. A Brown Ranch must be notified.

FURTHER TERMS IN THIS REGARDSee Sale Terms and Conditions at the back of the catalog.

DELIVERY

We can deliver the bulls at least 80% of the distance to your ranch. We may not drop at your ranch except on purchases totaling over $40,000. Preferred delivery drop points are not guaranteed and are subject to change depending on load routes. We try hard to get the cattle to everyone as safely, timely and cost effectively as possible.

FREE DELIVERY

We are offering free delivery to our “preferred delivery points” within the continental US for each buyer that purchases at least $18,000 in bulls or $30,000 for any combination of bulls and registered females. For purchases totaling less than these

BULLS AND REGISTERED FEMALES ONLY

amounts, we will provide delivery service to a “preferred delivery points” at the costs outlined on the prior page. Please inform us when you check out if you are hauling your own or that you would like us to coordinate the delivery of your cattle. If you want us to deliver the cattle, we need you to fill out a Delivery Information Sheet in the sale day supplement and give it to the clerk

when you pay out. Please note the cost of delivery associated with each delivery point. These charges will be reflected on your invoice on a per head basis.

LOAD-OUT SERVICE (for all registered cattle)

Many people prefer to haul their own cattle, and we are glad to help make this process as quick and easy as possible. If you choose to haul your own cattle, we can load them any time during the day on Wednesday through Saturday. We can load your cattle during the sale but you must first pay out and then bring the extra copy of your bill of sale (that you will receive at check out). Cattle will only be loaded when you present the extra copy of the paid Bill Of Sale. All animals that are to be hauled by the customer will be cared for at no cost through noon Saturday (3 days after the sale). Starting at noon Saturday there will be a charge of $6/head/day for all remaining animals that were to be picked up by the buyer. There will be no charge for feed and care of animals that are designated for us to deliver when you check out unless the delivery is delayed for any reason by the buyer. We can have Interstate Health Certificates for all animals that are going to states that accept cattle without additional testing. However, if your state requires additional testing like TB or Brucellosis, then that will be done the week after the sale and we can provide Interstate Health Certificates as soon as vet has all of the requirements met including permits from the buyer’s state.

TAKING DELIVERY ON COMMERCIAL FEMALES

All commercial females sell FOB from the ranch of origin. The buyer must coordinate directly with the seller to arrange delivery.

DELIVERY IS NOT AVAILABLE ON HORSES.

PREFERRED DELIVERY POINTS

The destinations on the chart have been selected as “Preferred Delivery Points.” Please select the two delivery points that are most convenient for you. Drop points may be adjusted after the sale time depending on the location and purchases of each buyer. Please keep in mind that this is a guide for “Preferred Delivery Points,” not guaranteed delivery points. We will be glad to calculate the cost to additional delivery points after the sale. Please give us your home, office and mobile phone numbers so that we can contact you (and anyone else that may be involved in receiving your cattle) in regard to the delivery of your cattle.

RISK and INSURANCE

As outlined in the Terms and Conditions in the back of this catalog, all cattle become the risk of the purchaser as soon as they are sold. To protect your interests, insurance will be offered & can be purchased at settlement time. The cost of this insurance is minimal and we encourage all buyers to consider buying it to cover the potential mortality of your investments.

HORSIN’ AROUND

This past year has been filled with blessings and milestones for our horse program. From the heartfelt support and strong acceptance of our offerings in the 2nd Annual Family & Friends Sale, to success in the show pen with NRCHA NP Reserve Championships at both the Stallion Stakes and the Western Derby, our horses have proven themselves in many arenas. They carried our brand to multiple globes at the AQHA Ranching Heritage World Finals, were named Top Horse at the Fort Worth Stock Show’s Best of the West Ranch Rodeo, and claimed a Championship at the Cowboy Heritage Ranch Challenge during The Run For A Million. And perhaps most humbling of all, Seven S Razzberry was crowned NRCHA World Champion Open Bridle Horse—a title we will treasure for years to come.

What makes these accomplishments especially meaningful is that they come from multiple horses, shown by multiple jockeys, representing both the 6th and 7th generations of our family. Each win reflects not only great horses, but also a legacy of horsemanship passed down and lived out in the arena today.

$M AAA Index predicting profitability for cattlemen who sell their calves at weaning time and retain their own replacement females.

$B AAA Index (Beef Value Index) is an economic selection index. It represents the expected average difference in progeny profitability when Angus cattle are sold on a quality-based carcass grid (think feedlot and packer stage).

$C AAA Index is an “All Purpose Index” designed to help improve the long term profitability of producers that raise their own replacement heifers while feeding the rest of their calves and selling them on a value-based carcass grid.

The Powered By Angus symbol means that you are buying a registered Angus Bull. We are proud to register and test every bull in this sale. Max Acc. The presence of this symbol indicates genomic data obtained through $Profit/Zoetis DNA testing have been incorporated into the above EPDs / Indices to ensure the highest possible accuracy for non-parent bulls. Most bulls are also DNA tested at the breed association.

*** We try to present the most concise job of accurately describing these animals for their genetic worth. We have spreadsheets full of more epds and data on the website. Also the registration number of the Association is included to make it easy to look up any possible changes from the time this information was sent to the printer.

What Is the Ideal Set of EPDs? For over three decades, we’ve been refining our EPD targets to produce the most profitable cattle in the business. Along the way, we developed a simple color-coding system that makes it easy to see how closely each EPD or Index lines up with our targets. Our #1 goal is to improve your

and sustainability by optimizing all economically relevant traits. In short, we believe success comes from producing Cows That Stay & Steers That Pay. This system has been the secret to our success, helping us quickly identify strengths and weaknesses to make better selection and mating decisions. Think of it like a traffic light: green means go, red means stop. It’s a simple but powerful way to produce cattle that put more profits in your pocket. Go to our website to find out more about the different color coding charts that we have for Calving Ease, Terminal, and All Purpose targets for each breed: www.RABrownRanch.com

COLORED TARGETS

Why Share This Now?

For years, we kept this system as a competitive advantage. But we’ve realized the beef industry will be stronger if more people use it. You can even adjust our targets to fit your environment and market. One key reminder: the top 1% for every trait is not always best. For example, our targets for Milk, DMI, and Fat are closer to average, because extremes in either direction can be costly. Likewise, we target belowaverage Mature Weight and Height to pursue “Goldilocks” cows—just the right size to thrive in pasture environments.

How We Use the System

In the table above, we applied our color-coding system to: 1) The top 10 Angus sires (by progeny registered in the past year), 2) Sires we are using, and those that females in this sale are bred to, 3) Bulls in this sale, 4) Females in this sale.

Not all “Angus” bulls are REGISTERED Angus bulls.

If you see this logo in conjunction with an individual animal or group of animals, you know that that animal is registered with the American Angus Association and backed by the power of data , programs and pedigrees of the Association.

Invest wisely in those that carry the Powered By Angus logo.

Look for the REGISTRATION NUMBER. For more information on the Powered By Angus program, visit: Angus.org/PBA.

The Targeting the Brand™ logo highlights registered Angus bulls with greater genetic potential to produce calves that meet the most challenging specifications of the Certified Angus Beef ® brand.

ANGUS

This bull is a great way to start our 51st Annual sale with a bull that is loaded with multi-trait genetic excellence. In fact, there is no other animal in the entire Angus database that can match his combination of superiority in so many traits. His mother was the lot 1 and high selling female in our 2024 Angus female sale and the mother of 4 other sons in this sale. He could be the mascot for our mantra: COWS THAT STAY & STEERS THAT PAY. He has the genetics to produce “GOLDILOCKS” sized cows that better fit pasture conditions to help us produce more pounds of beef per acre.

Go to our website and open our sortable spreadsheets that have our colored EPD targets that really help show his genetic superiority. You can even compare him to the top 10 bulls in the breed and see how he does more things right. Notice how he excels for the new maternal traits recently released by the AAA. Functional Longevity, Teat & Udder where he ranks in the top 25% to 30%. Plus he ranks in the top 1% & 3% for $M & $C respectively plus the top 4% for CED. In the %Profit database (which gave us several years head start in selecting for female FERTility where he ranks in the top 3% and $ Profit where he ranks in the top ½ of the top 1%. Functional Longevity and Fertility both measure reproductive efficiency, the most economically relevant trait in the cattle business. Please study my letter in the front of our Elite Angus Female Sale that will be the evening before this sale at 5 pm on Oct 7th. The catalog is on our website.

It is time for a maternal revolution in the Angus business, and this bull can help lead the charge and take your program to the forefront.

Staying with the same family, this bulls dam was a highlight in our sale last year and she is a maternal sister of lot 1. This bull’s full sister is the lot A1 female in our in our Oct 7th Elite Angus Female Sale here at the ranch. He is a physically eye appealing standout with worlds of muscle, volume and style. We have been measuring feed efficiency for over a decade and are now producing industry leading specialists at “DOING MORE WITH LESS” to help us accomplish our #1 goal of improving your profitability and sustainability . the cattle business. You will find this bull in pen 28 on the south end of our front row pens right next to the overhead bins.

Angus

ANGUS

This is a full brother to lot 2 and he ranks even high for $B, $C $Profit and $Feeder. These are 2 of the 56 High Security sons in this sale that can help improve the profitability of your ranching business. Be sure to come hear about our “calf-buy-back” program and supply chain during our program on Tuesday afternoon before the sale. We will feed you lunch and dinner.

We selected this bull to use for three months in our family’s herd so use the healthy breeding experience under his belt to your advantage. Every bull in this sale is healthy and has passed a Trich test just prior to the sale (even the virgin bulls.) Genetically he is one of the best bulls in the sale with elite efficiency and is sure to produce highly fertile daughters with awesome teat & udder quality.

Here is another feed efficiency super star that has earned the highest $Profit of any animal in the sale and tied for the 3rd highest $Ranch. $Profit is a 3rd party genetic evaluation that we have used extensively over the past decade as additional tools to help us produce more profitable cattle for you. You will see this bull ranks high for all the Angus Indexes as well.

Here is another super star for multi-trait genetic excellence. Speaking of stars, use our Star Rating system that helps summarize the mountain of information to help describe the genetic merit of each bull for 1) Complete- or could also be called “All Around” or excellence in multiple traits as well as 4 additional categories. Every bull earns from 0 to 5 stars with 5 being the best.

ANGUS

If you are looking for a bull out of a great cow, then put several stars by this bull and then go look at his mother in pen #2 that sells Tuesday evening as lot A6. He is one of our elite donors that is having a huge impact on our program by producing outstanding bulls like this one as well as super sisters. Notice he ranks really high for all the indexes and female FERTility where he is tied for the 3rd highest Angus bull in this sale.

We are striving to produce 1, 2, 3 cattle which means they are over $100 for $Maternal, over $200 for $Beef & over $300 for $Combined. There are only 3 bulls in this entire sale that meet this strict criteria. In fact, less than 1% of all Angus bulls born in 2024 meet this criteria. This is a great way to help you find the most elite cattle that do the most things right.

This is a great bull to produce fabulous feeder cattle that ring the bell for profit derived from his breed leading feed efficiency and prime premium producing marbling genetics. He is sure to produce calves that are in high demand by cattle feeders and consumers because of their ability to produce the best quality beef at less cost and therefore more profit.

Take a look right here at one of only 4 bulls in the sale that fit our 1, 2, 3 goals for being over $100 for $Maternal Value, $200 for Beef Value and $300 for Combined Value. Less than 1% of all Angus cattle born last year meet this strict criteria for multi-trait genetic superiority. Plus, this bull is loaded with muscle and length of body and he is one of the highest in the sale for the new Functional Longevity trait.

ANGUS

This bull leads us into a group of calving ease specialists that are a great choice to use on heifers or cows. Notice this group also ranks high for all the $Profit data with the blue headings and the Angus indexes with the black headings. There is no need to use a Longhorn, Corriente or Jersey for calving ease when you can use an Angus like these that will add tremendous value.

Looky looky, here is another bull that fits our 1, 2, 3 goals for over $100 $Maternal, $200 $Beef & $300 $Combined. His dam also has embryos selling in our female sale on Tuesday evening before this sale. He is also one of the highest Marbling bulls while also ranking high for maternal traits like Heifer Pregnancy.

When I find a cow that is better than I own, I try to buy her. I am really glad that I went to Meinder’s Stock Farm and bought this bull’s mother and she has produced lots of outstanding offspring for us including this 4-Star calving ease bull that also has tremendous carcass merit combined with Female FERTility to make great daughters. Cows that Stay & Steers that Pay!

Talk about sleep all night and go on vacation during calving season, this 5-star calving ease bull will be loved by your heifers because they will likely spit them out like watermelon seeds. These 4-Star & 5- Star bulls are calving ease specialists, and it looks like a good time keep some heifers.

ANGUS

I love it when bull who has earned one of the highest FERTility numbers in the entire sale and combines calving ease with good growth, super feed efficiency (F:G) and has the genetics to make sweet uddered highly fertile daughters that look so good too. See picture below. You will find this good-looking beast just across from the Marketing Center on the front row in pen 11.

Here is another really good bull out of one of our elite donors. He ranks really high for great feet, muscle and marbling. He is one of the highest $Profit, $Ranch, $Feeder, Fertility and Marbling bulls in the entire sale.

Prime pays powerful premiums and this is the highest marbling bull in the entire sale. One of the reasons the market is so strong is because we have done such a good job as an industry at improving beef quality – MARBLING. In less than 20 years we have quadrupled the amount of PRIME BEEF produce in America – now up to 12% of all fed cattle. Our carcass test herd graded 78% Prime.

This bull leads us into a group of 9 bulls in a row that earned the maximum 5-Star rating for both Growth and Carcass Traits and have super feed efficiency. Bulls like this will help you produce more quality and more pounds with less cost. The last I checked that really helps profitability. This is a full brother to lots 1 & 2.

ANGUS

This bull will produce calves that cattle feeders like us will be beating down the door to feed for you. He is the highest Yearling Weight bull in the sale that also excels for feed efficiency, carcass weight, marbling and muscle. Come Tuesday afternoon before this sale to hear more about our “calf-buy-back” program. We want to buy your calves sired by our bulls.

Much like the bull above and yet this bull also earns 3 stars for cowherd traits to make great replacement females. He has one of the best overall combinations for all Angus Indexes and does it with super feed efficiency. COWS THAT STAY & STEERS THAT PAY.

ANGUS

Listen close: Starting here through lot 35 are all black Angus bulls that are registered with the American Angus Association, and they are all homozygous black (no red gene). Genetically, these are some of the best bulls we have in the sale, just look at all the stars they earn for superior growth, carcass value & cowherd traits. They are also registered with the RAAA & these are their EPDs. They come with AAA papers.

Continuing from the note above: We did not have all of these registered with the Angus Association at the time we printed our catalog, but we did have them all registered with the Red Angus Association, so we are printing these numbers. The great thing about $Profit, $Ranch, $Feeder, FERTility and Feed:Gain (F:G) is that they are comparable across all breeds. So buy these bulls with confidence. They are Angus & will have AAA papers.

This is the 2nd bull in a row that earned our highest 5-Star rating for Growth, Carcass, Cowherd Traits as well as our overall category we call complete. Our stars are comparable across breeds just like the $Profit data is comparable across breeds. The reason these bulls were first registered with Red Angus is because their mothers were from Red Angus heritage and thankfully AAA registers these if they DNA test homozygous black.

Remember this is an Angus bull that will come with papers from the American Angus Association. Yes, I realize this page in the catalog is tan, but these ARE black Angus bulls. Look at all the stars this bull earns for multi-trait genetic excellence across all traits from conception to consumption. Study the % Ranks for the EPDs in Brown and use that to compare it to Angus % Ranks for the same traits.

ANGUS

Yes, this bull is registered with both the American Angus Association and the Red Angus Association. He is also registered with the Red Angus Association and brings in some fresh, new outcross genetics. His black mother is also the dam of lots 289 & 30. Take a look at the picture of this handsome powerhouse. He is a growth and carcass specialist and one of the 33 great looking, stout made, Gratitude sons in this sale.

This Angus bull is one of the few that earned our maximum 5-star rating for four categories. His black mother is one of the best cows we have ever had on our place. This is a bull that our family selected to use on our family’s cows so let his year of healthy experience work to your advantage. He will come with papers from the American Angus Association.

$

This Angus bull is a ¾ brother to the bull above. All our bulls have an age advantage, this one has a little more that will help do his job even better because our family selected him to use on our family’s cows. All bulls in this sale have cleared a Trich test and are ready to work. We plan to have the AAA EPDs up on our website for this group.

ANGUS

This bull brings us into Angus bulls with Angus EPDs and into a group of outstanding calving ease specialists. This will be a great investment for your heifers with his Calving Ease EPD better than 99% of all Angus bulls in America. He brings some great genetics to make great cows and carcasses. COWS THAT STAY & STEERS THAT PAY.

Here are 5 calving ease specialists all in a row and all sired by our outstanding sire and feed efficiency superstar Gratitude. Now in our 10th year of measuring feed efficiency, we are making great strides in helping you produce more value with less cost and therefore more profit.

With all the rain we have had, the grass we have grown, the tremendous value of calves and the forecasts for the market to stay strong for a long time, now is the time to make sure you have all the cows your ranch can hold so that you are selling as many pounds of calf per acre as you can. Keep and breed some of your best heifers.

BLK REDS

This is where we start the Black Red Angus bulls. Hold onto your hats, because this is a powerful superstar with amazing stats for growth, carcass, FERTility / Cowherd traits to make COWS THAT STAY AND STEERS THAT PAY. Red Angus breeders, imagine the demand for and value of his red, 100% 1A calves (half of them when bred to red cows.) We started blending the best of both colors of Angus together almost 30 years ago to produce the best Red Angus animals possible. And it works. His dam, Della 502, is one of the highest selling cows in our history and is the mother of LSF High Voltage & Leverage that combined sold for a smooth quarter of a million dollars. There is no other Red Angus or Black Red Angus animal in the entire Red Angus database that can match this bull’s amazing EPD profile. Plus he is one of the most powerful, long-bodied, attractive, and impressive bulls I have ever seen. And all that comes with super feet and a great disposition. I see this bull having a big impact on the Red Angus breed. (While you are thinking about it, you may want to add some of the Black Red Angus females and embryos to your wish list that begin selling at lot 574 and some are bred to Locked and Loaded, our high selling Black Red Angus bull back in March for $92,000 who will be on display at this sale.

Unmatched EPDs. His dam is a maternal sister to Noble and Duke & his Granddam is pictured with her Locked & Loaded embryos, lot 605. Use him on 1A Red Angus cows to get outstanding, fresh new, superior outcross genetics that are 100% 1A Red Angus half the time. 10 of the 14 animals on his 3 generation pedigree are black outcross genetics with amazing mating flexibility.

Tremendous growth, carcass, fertility and feed efficiency. Use him on homozygous black cows and get all black calves. All of the tan headings are from the $Profit database. We use that because $Profit has over 20,000 actual carcass records with genomics in the database to give it a tremendous boost in accuracy.

We are in the highest market in history. If you want all black calves, you can use these black Red bulls 100% of the time if your cows are homozygous (all) black. If they are black baldies (have a red gene) then 75% of the time the calves will be black and when you breed them to red cows 50% of the calves will be black. We want to buy them all, regardless of color.

ANGUS / BLK REDS

If not now, soon, many of you will be thinking (like many other ranchers over the past 27 years that we have been making Black Red Angus)…”These are some of the best bulls in the sale and I should buy some.” I agree with your thinking. You will like the offspring and we want to buy the weaned calves or yearlings regardless of what color of Angus they are.

Wow – who set the sale order? This a bull earned the maximum 5-Star rating for growth, carcass & complete with 4 star cowherd and is also a sleep all night calving ease specialists that earned 5 stars for easy calving that will be a great choice to use on both heifers and cows.

$

This a bull lights up the star category like the Milky Way and he does it with style. Take a look at his picture below. He is a feed efficiency specialists too so that his calves will produce more with less. The great news is that feed efficiency has excellent heritability to help you make faster progress. It is higher in heritability than weaning weight and we know we can make quick improvements in growth.

Here we go back to the bulls registered with the Angus Association as all bulls in this book are that have black headings. If you like to make money, you will love bulls like this that rank in the top 1/10th of 1% for $Profitability. He is the money-making kind.

ANGUS

Here is a full brother to the previous bull and they both absolutely fit our mantra of making COWS THAT

This is a bull that we chose to use in our family’s cowherd last winter and this spring. For years we have been bringing you these more mature bulls that are right and ready to go breed lots of cows & they are used to covering big pastures. The fall born weaned steers from this family herd sold in August as 90 day weaned calves for $3,100 per head. Great bulls pay great dividends.

Here is one of only 4 bulls in the sale that fits our 1, 2, 3 target for $M, $B & $C. Notice his picture was taken back in the winter before we turned him out on our family’s herd. He is just now 2 years old and has 1 healthy breeding season of experience under his belt that you can use to your advantage. Every bull in this sale is healthy and has a clean Trich Test.

Here we go into a group of calving ease bulls that are way more than just calving ease bulls. Yes, you can count on them to help your heifers calve easily, but you can also count on them to grow fast, make nice replacement females and hang up a great carcass.

ANGUS

ANGUS

BLK REDS

Here we go into our 2nd group of Black/Red Angus and we start with another amazing bull that is the 2nd highest $Ranch black bull in the sale. $Ranch is similar to $Maternal at the Angus Association. It recognizes COWS THAT STAY & STEERS THAT PAY. He is out of one of our most favorite cows of all time that is affectionately known as “Goldilocks” because of her “just right” size and tremendous productivity.

Most of these Black Red Angus bulls will go to forward thinking commercial cattlemen to use on Angus cows and most of them will get all black calves out of them (some will get a few red calves) with some new and improved outcross genetics from the Red Angus side that will help them make highly fertile and functional cows with all the bells and whistles. This business is not about hide color it is about profitability.

I think you should try some of these black red bulls. Just look at how good they are and all of the black calves will qualify to become Certified Angus beef and we want to buy all of your weaned calves out of these bull regardless of what color they are to go into our new beef supply chain called Rancher’s Sustainable Angus.

How about this 4-Star calving ease bull that is a prime choice to use on both heifers and cows with added growth, amazing marbling and fabulous feed efficiency. Plus he really looks good. He is the front pasture kind that your neighbors will admire.

BLK REDS

These bulls are ultra-complete. The profitability contest in the cattle business is usually won by the cattle that do the most things right and the least things wrong. Go to our website and take a look at our sortable spreadsheets that are color coded to help you easily identify the bulls that will improve your profits the most. All Purpose or Terminal.

You should be thinking about buying these outstanding black Angus bulls that are registered with another Angus Association. Did you know that the American Angus Association is the only Angus registry in the world that doesn’t register both colors of Angus? Genetically these are outstanding Angus. Phenotypically, they are black and they are good. Try them, you will like them.

ANGUS / BLK REDS

Here we go into a string of 5 bulls that we selected to use on our family’s cows this spring. They have a little extra age advantage with 90 days of healthy breeding experience in big pastures. Use these bulls with confidence to handle rough country and breed your cows quick. All bulls in this sale have passed a recent Trich test and are 100% right and ready.

Take a look at all the stars, EPDs, indexes and phenotype. This bull does it all. That is why we selected him to use on our family’s cows. These bulls have been a good buy the past several years and I don’t understand why some people have discriminated against them when you can use their

healthy experience to your advantage. Buy them & use them. You will be glad you did.

ANGUS / BLK REDS

This bull leads us back into a dozen calving ease specialists that, in all reality – excel in all traits of economic importance. This is normally the place in the auction where good cowmen realize that these outstanding Black Red Angus bulls may be the smartest investment they can make. Buy them. I am confident you will like them and their offspring. This is one of the best bulls in the sale.

We have been selling for about an hour at this point in the sale and most likely the bulls are selling higher than ever before just like everyone’s calves and even their culls have been selling higher than ever before. The great news is that the fundamentals are right for this record market to stay a while so you can reap the benefits of these outstanding genetics. Invest in better bulls that will make you more money.

You are sure to like this bull. He is super stout and has all the genetics to go along with it to improve your profitability and sustainability in the cattle business.

Marbling is where the money is and prime pays powerful premiums. This bull ranks in the top 1/10th of 1% for Marbling. The calves from our carcass test herd in Vernon, TX owned by the White and Spears families, graded 78% PRIME. The industry average is 12% Prime. The Whites are selling some commercial females in this sale as soon as the black Angus and Black Red Angus bulls are done.

With all the rain we have been blessed with and all the grass we have grown, now is the time to keep some heifers and produce more pounds from your ranch. You are going to need some sleep all night calving ease bulls. Here is a whole string of them one after the other and we want to buy the calves back out of these bulls. Come to our program on Tuesday afternoon the 7th to learn more.

ANGUS

Holy Cow, here some lots more of those outstanding, sleep-all-night calving ease specialists that your heifers are going to love for making their life easier and you are going to love them because the older the calves get, the more valuable they become because they take off and grow and are bred to make great cows that breed up, raise great calves and stay in the herd to do it again year after year.

This bull has better genes for calving ease and light birthweight than 99% of all other Angus bulls in America. Plus he will pass on better feed efficiency than 99.9% of all other Angus bulls in America. Remember a bull is an investment, not a cost. Invest wisely in bulls like this that are bred to make you more money.

ANGUS

ANGUS

More great calving ease specialists and these are bulls that we bred our own family’s heifers to. You can use their healthy experience to your advantage and they are still the right size to breed heifers. This bull just happens to be a full brother to the dam of lots 1 & 2. Great genes run in the family.

This bull and the next three are all bulls that we chose to breed our family’s heifers with. Select with confidence. You will be glad you did. Every bull in this sale has passed a trich test and is ready to go breed for you. Let the healthy experience they have under their belt work to your advantage.

ANGUS

Oh my goodness, this is one of the best bulls in the sale and he leads us into 7 in a row of the 56 High Security sons in this sale. They are the money-making kind with genetic merit and eye appeal to spare. Plus they have super feet. Remember none of the bulls in this sale have had to have their feet trimmed.

This is the first of two full brothers that you are sure to like. Take a look on the east side of bull alley at their outstanding mother in Pen 1 that sells as lot A14. Go look at her or look her video up online. She is sure to please and so are these sons.

ANGUS / BLK REDS

12 bulls in a row that earned our highest 5-Star rating for both Growth & Carcass. Pounds still pay and this bull is tied for the highest Weaning Weight EPD black bull in the sale and he does it with industry-leading marbling and efficiency. PRIME PAYS POWERFUL PREMIUMS. The premiums are multiplied by the pounds. Feed efficiency saves money with every bite. All these things lead to more profit.

Jamison is a very popular high performance Angus sire and this bull’s dam is the famous cow that topped one of our recent sales going to Mathias Ranch with Toby & Trevyr Lester who affectionately call her “Goldilocks” because of her ideal size. She traces back to our beloved AbiGrace who is still the highest money earning cow in the history of the Red Angus breed.

Moving back into an elite group of calving ease bulls that are so much more than “just calving ease” bulls. Live calves matter and check out this bull’s 4-Star Cowherd rating, Goldilocks size & top 3% $Maternal. Contrary to coffee shop talk, you should keep heifers out of heifers when you use bulls like this because your heifers should be your best genetics on the ranch.

Have you ever heard of a “Chute Rooster”? Those are the guys that sit on the back of the bucking chutes giving advice, but have never done it successfully. There are plenty of coffee shop cowboys that tell you to use Longhorn, Corriente or Wagyu bulls for calving ease and not to keep heifers out of heifers. Why when you can use a bull like this that 4-Star Angus bull with top 1% Female FERTility.

Black Red Angus

ANGUS

BLK REDS

More Sleep-All-Night calving ease bulls that are so much more than just “calving ease bulls”. Take a look at all the Stars this bull & this group of bulls earns for Multi-Trait Excellence, $Profit, Marbling, etc. This is about the time in the sale when the good cowmen say to themselves, “I am going to buy some of these outstanding Black Red Angus bulls.” They are just as good if not better than the Angus.

Where do you get advice? There are plenty of “coffee shop cowboys” that have lots of advice to share. Do you know what mediocre people do when they get tired of being mediocre? They go around handing out mediocre advice. I prefer to use sound science & the science says this bull has better calving ease than 99% of all Angus bulls in America, and female FERTility & $P.

Read the comment above and remember that most “coffee shop cowboys” think you shouldn’t keep heifers out of heifers. I will challenge that fake news. You should keep heifers out of heifers when sired by a bull like this that has female FERTility that is better than 99.9% of all Angus cattle in the industry and marbling in the top ½ of 1%. That makes sense why his $Profit is so high.

These outstanding calving ease bulls just keep coming one after the other and they look great too! These bulls are bred and developed to improve your profitability and sustainability in the cattle business. Remember bulls are an investment, not a cost. With these record high calf prices – great bulls are an even better investment.

BLK REDS

ANGUS

If you didn’t get lot 2 or 3 purchased, here is their full brother and he leads us into a group of high growth bulls with industryleading carcass traits and superior feed efficiency that all work to improve your PROFITability. Take a look at his picture and you will see that he looks the part too.

Here is one of the highest marbling bulls in this sale. Marbling is where the money is because Prime Pays Powerful Premiums. Plus there is additional value to high marbling, it is additional stored energy the cow can use when she needs it. I know of no downside to more marbling, but we can’t just single trait select for it, make sure they have great feet too like this bull.

ANGUS

WOW!!! This is an outstanding bull that has front-pasture eye appeal that will turn the head of everyone who drives by and make your calves more valuable with genetics for improved profit. These are all reasons why we chose to use this bull for 90 days this summer on our family’s cows along with the next 4 bulls too. Take advantage of the healthy experience these bulls have to improve your profits.

ANGUS

We have been measuring feed efficiency for a decade now and it is obvious that we are able to make rapid progress in this trait that allows us to improve profits by producing more pounds with less cost. Download our sortable spreadsheets that are color coded to help visualize the genetic strengths of each bull and show more traits like the new Teat & Udder EPDs from Angus that show these bulls to be outstanding.

ANGUS

This bull and the next 2 are registered with the American Angus Association and are homozygous black just like the bulls that have black headings. The $Profit and Stars are comparable, but the EPDs with brown heading are from the RAAA because these bulls are also registered there. This is another bull that we chose to use in our family’s herd because of his genetic excellence. You can see their Angus EPDs on the spreadsheets on our website.

This is a black Angus bull that is registered with the Angus Association, and he is homozygous black. We love his pedigree and appreciate that he traces back to a Red Angus heritage and we see value in that. We started blending the best of both colors of Angus together almost 30 years ago to get the best of both worlds. It works. Buy this bull with confidence!!

This is a black Angus bull that is registered with the Angus Association, and he is homozygous black. Yes, he is showing her in the book with Red Angus EPDs because his mother traces back to red heritage. We didn’t have all these bulls registered with Angus when we put the catalog together, but he will sell with AAA papers. Check out all the stars this bull earns with his multi-trait genetic excellence.

One of the reasons why we developed our Star Rating System is so that we can most accurately help you compare animals across breeds. You can use our stars as well as $Profit to compare every bull in this catalog. The $Profit EPDs are comparable, while the percent rank tells you how they compare within each breed. The Black Reds are ranked with the Red Angus.

ANGUS / BLK REDS

This bull starts us into a group of outstanding growth and carcass maker bulls that also have the genetics to make highly FERTile and long-lasting females! We begin this group with one of 56 sons of our ultra-COMPLETE sire: High Security. Buy them in volume and remember you get 10% off of every bull with the purchase of 10 or more bulls.

BLK REDS

ANGUS

This bull leads us into a group of 3-Star calving ease bulls that should work well on cows or heifers.

ANGUS

$Profit is the best metric I have found to select cattle that make you more money by working on both sides of the profit equation: Income and expenses. It identifies cattle that make you more money by increasing value, improving reproductive efficiency and decreasing cost of production. Notice this bull ranks higher for $Profit than 99.2% of all Angus bulls in America.

ANGUS

Here is one of 33 outstanding Gratitude sons selling in this sale. We are also selling Gratitude’s mother on Tuesday evening as lot A10. Be sure to look at her in Pen 2 – east of “Bull Alley.” You will love her.

ANGUS

This bull starts the last group of 3 bulls that we selected to use on our family’s cows. These first 2 are full 2 years old and you can use the healthy experience they have under their belt to your advantage. They are ready to go breed cows and handle big pastures with ease. All our bulls are more prepared for this than most, these experienced bulls just have a little practice that you can use to your advantage.

This is a family bull that we selected to use on our family’s cows. We selected these to make us more money and you can too. All bulls in our sale are guaranteed fertile, healthy and tested for Trich. Our success is dependent on your success.

This is the last of the bulls that we used in our family’s herd. You are sure to like him for all the right reasons. Notice he almost makes the mark of our 1,2,3 target that less than 1% of all Angus cattle achieve.

BLK REDS

Here is one of the best growth and carcass bulls in the entire sale. He is sired by the popular Jamison bull and out of the famous “Goldilocks” cow that is now at Mathias ranch in Arkansas and was a previous sale topper here.

Here we go with 3 full brothers in a row and they are excellent.

Customer Appreciation - Commercial Bred Heifer Sale

Wednesday, October 8, 2025

Commercial heifers will sell following the Black bulls and just before the Red Angus bulls.

Our Customers’ Best

Our customers represent a healthy mix of some of elite ranching operations across the southern plains as well as the beef industry’s rising generation of superstar cowmen and cattlewomen. They share a common appreciation for profitable beef genetics. Through the front-end bulls they purchase in our annual sales, and the balanced trait calving ease sires they use A.I., these ranchers have developed some of the most sought after, ranch-ready replacement females in the industry. And, they are willing to share their “keepers” in our annual bull sale.

How the Commercial Heifer Sale will work:

• Consignments will all be videoed prior to the sale and will be available at RABrownRanch.com along with the bull videos.

• Larger groups of heifers will be sold in “gate-cut” of approximately 10 head. The successful bidder will have the option of taking any/all consecutive 10 head sorts from the same lot and at the same bid price.

• The following pages contain general descriptions of each ranch’s entire consignment as well as delivery information. Our Sale Day Supplement will have any updated palpation/ultrasound information and how that impacts the exact head count for each lot.

• The Commercial heifer lots represented in this catalog will be sold FOB their respective consignor’s ranch.

Breeding Guarantee: All commercial females identified as “Bred” have been determined pregnant by a competent ultrasound or palpation technician. If prior to December 1, 2025 it is determined (by competent palpation/ultrasound technician) that one of the commercial females you purchased in this sale is not pregnant, then please call us and you will be reimbursed (by the seller ) the difference between her purchase price and the salvage value you receive for her.

Just look at the grass we’re growing compared to other ranches with the same rainfall. We are producing more pounds of beef per acre than ever before. A big part of that success is Tucker Ag Products and Oligrow. For 10 years, Steve and Seth have helped us control weeds, prickly pear, and mesquite—eliminating competition for our grass at the best cost, while protecting wildlife habitat and improving soil health.”

RED ANGUS BULLS

RAB Exclusive Star Rating System

Compares bulls across breeds in five areas of economic relevance: Complete, Heifer Calving, Growth, Carcass Merit, and Cowherd. In general more stars indicate greater genetic improvement. There is a more detailed explanation of the RAB Star System in the front of the catalog.

Docility Score Every RAB bull is individually scored 1-5 for docility where 1 represents the most docile.

DOB

Birthdate of Animal.

REG#

Registration number assigned by the Red Angus Association of America (RAAA).

CAT

All Red Angus and Black/Red Angus Bulls are registered with the RAAA. This indicates their respective registry category and percent Angus parentage.

Herd Identifies cooperator (herd of origin). Go to RABrownRanch. com/cooperators/ and meet our cooperator team.

Animal ID

Animal’s tattoo

$PROFIT is an Economic Selection Index comparing bulls’ impact on profitability over their productive life (100 calves).

$RANCH is an Economic Selection Index comparing bulls impact on profitability per calf when keeping replacement females and selling calves at weaning time.

$FEEDER is an Economic Selection Index comparing bulls’ value as a post weaning feeder calf. Growth, Feed Efficiency and Carcass Value are included.

% RANK compares an individual animal to all Red Angus that have been evaluated in $Profit multibreed genetic evaluation of over 1 million head.

FERT EPD Fertility

predicts differences in females’ ability to get pregnant and raise a calf every year. A higher FERT EPD predicts greater lifetime fertility, which will result in higher $Profit and $Ranch.

F:G EPD is a genetic prediction of relative differences in feed efficiency. Lower F:G EPDs indicate less feed will be consumed to produce one pound of gain. This EPD is calculated using Feed Intake data through the $Profit genetic evaluation.

GdM RAAA GridMaster Index compares relative profitability per cow exposed when bulls are used on mature cows but no replacements are kept, and all progeny are fed and marketed on a value based grid.

Red Angus EPDs and Percentile Ranks

CED - Calving Ease Direct BW - Birth Weight WW - Weaning Weight YW - Yearling Weight Milk - Daughters Milk Production

Percentile Ranks Percentile ranks indicate where this animal’s EPDs rank vs. other non-parent animals in the RAAA database. A 1% rank indicates that animal is in the top one percent of the approximate 150,000 non-parent animals in the RAAA database.

Max Acc. The presence of this symbol indicates genomic data obtained through $Profit/Zoetis DNA testing have been incorporated into the above EPDs / Indices to ensure the highest possible accuracy for non-parent bulls. Most bulls are also DNA tested at the breed association.

$P EPDs:

CW - Carcass Weight

IMF - Intramuscular Fat REA - Ribeye Area

*** We try to present the most concise job of accurately describing these animals for their genetic worth. We have spreadsheets full of more epds and data on the website. Also the registration number of the Association is included to make it easy to look up any possible changes from the time this information was sent to the printer.

What

Is the Ideal Set of EPDs? For over three decades, we’ve been refining our EPD targets to produce the most profitable cattle in the business. Along the way, we developed a simple color-coding system that makes it easy to see how closely each EPD or Index lines up with our targets. Our #1 goal is to improve your profitability and sustainability by optimizing all economically relevant traits.

This Now?

Why Share

For years, we kept this system as a competitive advantage. But we’ve realized the beef industry will be stronger if more people use it. You can even adjust our targets to fit your environment and market. One key reminder: the top 1% for every trait is not always best. For example, our targets for Milk, DMI, and Fat are closer to average, because extremes in either direction can be costly. Likewise, we target belowaverage Mature Weight and Height to pursue “Goldilocks” cows—just the right size to thrive in pasture environments.

How We Use the System

In the table above, we applied our color-coding system to: 1) The top 10 Red Angus sires (by progeny registered in the past year), 2) Sires we are using, and those that females in this sale are bred to, 3) Bulls in this sale, 4) Females in this sale.

RED ANGUS

This is a rare opportunity to own the #1 active sire in the breed for any trait—especially for the most economically relevant one: $Profit. Sure Thing excels across the board, combining Calving Ease, Carcass Weight, Fertility, and Marbling as well as any bull in the industry—all while offering outstanding eye appeal.

We are using him heavily, as are our partners and many of our cooperators, so you can expect his offspring to be featured in our future sales for years to come. Females in this sale are bred to him, and his sons will highlight our upcoming March sale.

We will continue marketing semen on this outstanding genetic masterpiece with our partners, Schuster Farms and Leachman Cattle. We are selling full possession, full salvage value, and in-herd semen use (at cost).

It is truly a treasure to have one of the best A.I. sires in the business walking your pastures and breeding your cows. He is an attraction that draws folks to see your herd—and some of the best advertising we’ve ever had. Simplify your system: no semen to buy, no synchronization to set up—just buy Sure Thing and let him go to work for you.

RED ANGUS

This is one of the best semen selling prospects we have ever had in our sale. It is unique to find a bull with top 1% Calving ease and have this bull’s impressive phenotypically. He is a hoss on the hoof and on paper. He ranks in the top 1% for Calving Ease Direct, ProS & Calving Ease Maternal. Combine that with his outstanding growth, Marbling and Stayability and you will find no other animal in the entire Red Angus database that can match his amazing EPD profile. Plus, he has tremendous mating flexibility with his unique pedigree.

Cow / Calf producers are enjoying the most profitable time in history, and the fundamentals say it should last for quite some time. The US cowherd inventory is at the lowest it has been in many decades, and heifer retention is just starting to show signs of rebuilding. That means lots of heifers to breed and in today’s economics, AI breeding commercial heifers is a “no brainer.” I anticipate we will see an explosion in the amount of semen needed to breed commercial heifers. The big question is who will own this bull and best capitalize on this opportunity to own one of the best, if not the best Red Angus bull to breed heifers and sell semen. Are you going to buy this bull and sell semen or are you going to let someone else own this bull and you buy semen?

RED ANGUS

WOW! Take a look at the absolutely tremendous FERT that this moderate and easy fleshing dude offers. He is the highest $FERT bull in the sale or highest Angus bull in the sale or highest Red Angus bull in the sale, in fact he is one of the highest $FERT bulls in the entire $P system. I would wager that this stud’s daughters can just about get settled from just looking at a bull. Pretty easy to see how he gets that impressive $Ranch and his 5 star ranking for cowherd. I would recommend building an entire herd around this dude. Imagine the mating flexibility and increased bang for you buck when you throw in his 5 star combination of CE and Growth. For those of you keeping track that’s 24 out of 25 stars on our exclusive Star ranking system, which ranks him as one of the all-time Star earners to come through our system.

This stud can help get your end product program where it needs to be in a hurry. He earns an impressive 5 out of 5 stars in our exclusive star rating system. It’s pretty easy to see why, when you study his outstanding carcass EPD package, that ranks at the very top of the chart for IMF combined with single digit rankings for FAT, REA and YG. Notice also he posts one of the top $Feeder numbers for the Red Angus bulls as well. It’s bulls like this guy that produce steers that pay. Speaking of profit, come to our Oct. 7th program to learn how we are striving to improve your profits through our calf buy back program.

RED ANGUS

Our mantra is “Cows that stay and steers that pay.” To achieve this goal, we all need to be investing in bulls like this that are a member of the $100/$200 club, that is a bull that is over $100 for $Ranch and $200 for $Feeder. There are record levels of profitability for cow/calf producers and this is forecasted to remain for the foreseeable future. The only maximum we chase at R.A. Brown is profitability. The way to achieve this is genetics. NOW IS THE TIME TO INVEST IN SUPERIOR

YOUR PROFITABILITY AND SUSTAINABILITY! We also suggest to DNA your commercial heifers to get EPDs to help select them the same way you do our bulls. Learn how at our OCT. 7th program.

This guy’s performance figures read like a dream with outstanding ratios of 106 weaning and 109 yearling combined with only a 65 pound actual birthweight and 95 ratio. This is reflected in his excellent EPD set and the fact that he earns 9 out of 10 stars for CE and Growth. Marbling pays and this stud has it in spades with his outstanding 120 IMF ratio that helps to give him a MB EPD that ranks in the single digits to go along with a 5 star carcass ranking. Pretty easy to see how he scores 5 complete stars.

Market your calves by the pound? This stud brings outstanding profit potential with his scale crushing growth figures and 5 star Growth rating. Market your calves on a grid? He has you covered there as well with his prime potential IMF ratio of 151. This guy blows apart the antagonisms between marbling and muscling by also posting an exceptional 109 REA ratio. Easy to see how he earns that 5 star carcass rating and top of the chart $Feeder. Keep those daughters as well with that $Ranch.

It’s been said the only free meal in the cattle business is Prime. If you want to be setting at the head of the table when it’s time to collect those carcass premiums, you need to be investing in bulls like this. His 108 IMF ratio combined with his elite top of the chart ranking for IMF and $Feeder can get your end product program where it needs to be in a hurry. Imagine the daughters with his top ranked FERT and $Ranch.

RED ANGUS

I’m positive that he will have loads of fans around him out in the pens on sale day. He will have loads of admirers that find him in the catalog as well with his growth that ranks completely off the chart for WW, YW and ADG. Expect those pounds to be premium and profitable with his out-of-this-world 167 IMF ratio combined with top of the chart MB. Little wonder he blows the top of GMI and has such an impressive $Feeder.

This stud resembles the milky way he has so many stars with an amazing 23 out of 25 total stars. With the mountains of data that we use to evaluate our bulls we developed a simplified star system for our customers to utilize. Check out page 12 for more details. Get into the weeds with this guy’s EPDs and you have to be impressed how he combines off the chart performance with exceptional calving ease that ranks in the elite single digits.

When it comes to performance this dude is loaded for bear. Just imagine the extra profitability that he offers just from the extra pounds that he can produce from his growth EPDs that rank completely off the chart. Expect his daughters to breed up on time and then go out and calve unassisted with his HPG and CEM that rank right at the top of the chart. These daughters can do it year in and year out with his exceptional $FERT and $Ranch.

If you or your customers market cattle on a grid, you had better be loading up on bulls like this stud. Check out his outstanding 115 IMF ratio that helps to give him a chart-topping MB EPD. Throw in his elite single digit rankings for growth and you can see why he scores such impressive GridMaster Index and $Feeder numbers as well. Use bulls like this to help produce progeny for our lucrative calf buy back program. If you are interested be sure to attend our program Tuesday evening for more info on this and DNA testing for your commercial heifers.

RED ANGUS

Here comes another really good bull with a very balanced EPD profile. He does a lot of things right with his combination of growth that ranks in the single digits with high-ranking calving ease. Expect his daughters to settle on time and calve unassisted with his HPG and CEM that both rank near the top of the chart. Need marbling and muscling? He has you covered there as well. That’s 11 traits in the top 26% or better. You can see why he has a myriad amount of stars.

If you have a mature set of cows and you want to produce abundant pounds and profit, this stud can sure enough get it done for you. As I sit here writing this, 5 weights were bringing over $459 at OKC so you can certainly see how those extra pounds add up in a hurry. Retain interest in his calves to make those pounds even more profitable with his 5 star carcass. I’d also advise you to keep as many daughters as possible out of this guy with the tremendous fertility and $Ranch that he offers. And can we talk about his outstanding dam? She is a phenomenal cow that produced one of the best black reds in our history, IDEAL!

$

Those $2,500 steers are really nice, but let’s keep our eye on the prize and that is increasing the sustainability of our cowherd. The best way to achieve this is through fertility. More pregnant cows=more calves=more profitability=improved sustainability. The best way to achieve this fertility is through using bulls like this that blow the top off the chart for FERT. And yes, he’ll put out the pounds as well with those growth EPDs!

Looking for a great bull that offers five-star calving ease in a really moderate made package? If so, you are in the correct spot my friend. This stud will have a lot of admirers on sale day, especially when you throw in his outstanding combination of top-ranked herd building traits and fantastic end product merit. Throw all this together and you can see how he achieves such a phenomenal $Profit ranking.

RED ANGUS

This guy can do a lot of good for a group of heifers. First off, his 5 star CE ranking that comes from his top of the chart rankings for CED and BW combined with only a 68 pound actual birthweight should put a smile on both your face and your heifers. Keep those daughters and grid his steers with his top-ranked $Ranch and $Feeder. In the fairly recent past, we were excited to get a bona fide heifer bull to top $13,000 $P. By rapidly stacking and improving top genetics we are now able to offer bulls like this that offer sleep all night calving ease with over $24,000 $P. We work hard to improve your profitability and sustainability.

If you want to inject a big dose of fertility into your next heifer crop you need to be investing in bulls like this guy with his incredible FERT. I would also advise you to DNA your commercial heifers to find your most fertile and profitable daughters so you can really turn the crank on genetic advancement. Come to our meeting Tuesday evening the 7th to learn more about this exciting technology as well as our innovative calf buy back program.

Get reacquainted with your pillow next calving season with this guy’s calving ease EPDs that rank in the single digits and his 58 pound actual birthweight that help to give him a 5 star ranking for CE in our exclusive ranking system. This unique piece of germplasm blows apart the antagonisms between calving ease and growth with his single digit rankings for both WW and YW. Keep those daughters as they should breed up on time and then go out and calve unassisted with his top ranked HPG and CEM.

Commercial bull buyers study your lesson and be ready to act with these “upfront” bulls. Every year there are bulls that sell in the commercial buyer’s budget in this first run of bulls, so be ready! Purebred or commercial, this stud can do a lot for your program with his great combination of performance and end product merit in a moderate package that offers sleep all night calving ease from his single digit rankings for CEM and BW.

This stud knocks it out of the park when it comes to carcass quality. He posts an incredible 144 IMF ratio that helps him earn one of the top MB EPDs in the sale. This guy can turn your carcass program around in one generation. He’s much more than a one trick pony though, check out the fantastic calving ease that he offers with his 61 pound actual birthweight with only an 89 ratio that helps to give him his top of the chart CEM and BW that ranks in the single digits.

OH, MY! This stud should have a crowd gathered out in the pens. He is extremely easy on the eyes and is loaded to the hilt with muscling and quality. You will want to stick this guy down by the ranch sign when you get him home. This guy’s genotype is just as good as his impressive phenotype. Check out the impressive end product merit that he offers with his top of the chart MB combined with a great REA. Pretty handy that he also earns 5 CE stars. $

SIMANGUS

This amazing bull leads us into an outstanding set of SimAngus bulls that use hybrid vigor, breed complementarity and powerful genetics to improve your profitability by producing COWS THAT STAY AND STEERS THAT PAY! In addition to his tremendous eye appeal, he inherited multi-trait genetic excellence from conception to consumption. There is only one other animal in the entire SimGenetic database that can match his ultra-complete EPD combination. In addition, he is homozygous black and homozygous polled with very tame docility. He will be easy to find on sale day because his powerful and stylish type and kind earned him a spot on the front row right up by the overhead bins in pen 27. Take a look at his handsome photo – You can look at this picture anytime, but we encourage you to just buy the bull and watch him breed your cows so that you can benefit from his next generation of outstanding genetics walking in your pasture.

Calves from our SimAngus bulls also qualify genetically for our Rancher’s Sustainable Angus Alliance (RSAA) if they are bred to cows with enough Angus or Red Angus genetics so that the calf is at least half Angus. This “calf buy-back-program” is designed to earn you more premiums for your calves while minimizing your risk and allowing you to get carcass data back on each individual calf. Come join us on the afternoon of October 7th to learn more about RSAA, meet the CEO as well as the head buyer of Cobalt Cattle who will buy your weaned calves or yearlings to flow them through our system. They will be joined by President of RSAA, CJ Blew along with Blake Angell & Marcine Moldenhauer to share more about this supply chain that we have been developing for over four years. This program is designed to help you get paid more for your calves, while also getting data back to help you make better breeding and selection decisions to continually improve your profitability and sustainability in the cattle business.

SIMANGUS

Our SimAngus are known for their powerful growth and carcass strength with maternal traits that help them produce outstanding hybrid females like this bull. He is complete from end to end with awesome feet, female fertility and feed efficiency.

Need growth? Are you selling pounds? This bull is sure to produce great looking cattle that press hard on the scales & then ring the cash register with his industry-leading carcass traits and terminal index. We don’t have room in this catalog to print all the info, so we print the stats that we believe will best help you select the bulls that best fit your needs. You can go to our website to see the full suite of EPDs in a color coded, sortable spreadsheet.

We continue with this theme of pounds that pay premiums in an eye appealing package. He is sired by our Brown RRR Emblem who topped our SimAngus sale a couple of years ago and we love his offspring.

Who would have imagined 30 years ago that we could combine exceptional eye appeal with calving ease, growth and carcass traits all in the same animal… we did. It has taken a long time, but through decades of focused dedication we bring you this multi-trait specialist.

Here is one of the highest $Profit bulls in the sale that is a prime selection to use for mouthwatering marbling combined with the safety of 5 Star calving ease and fertility genetics designed to make great replacement females. If you like bulls that will make you money, you are sure to like this bull.

507

SIMANGUS

Here is another royally bred bull with the 5-Star calving ease rating that makes him a great choice to use on heifers as well as cows to make COWS THAT STAY & STEERS THAT PAY. Take a look at his picture here or his video on our website. When you get here, you will find this muscular made, impressive beast in pen 59 – halfway up “bull alley” to the north. Notice his high $Profit, $ Ranch, $Feeder, API, TI – all the indexes that tell us he has the genetics to improve your profits.

Notice his top 3% Carcass Weight EPD (CW) and his phenomenal top 1/10th of 1% for Intramuscular Fat (IMF – commonly referred to as marbling). These EPDs with the dark grey header are from the $Profit database that has incorporated over 20,000 actual carcass records into the genetic evaluation. What is even more powerfully increasing the accuracy of these EPDs is that most of these carcass records also have DNA for genomic enhancement. Bottom Line: These are the most accurate carcass EPDs I know of anywhere.

508

SIMANGUS

The American Simmental Association and International Genetic Solutions (IGS) has been a leader in the development and use of outstanding selection indexes. Notice this bull blows the top of the charts with his amazing All Purpose Index (API) and Terminal Index (TI). Notice he is a high percentage Angus and a little Simmental.

509

Here we go into a powerful set of red SimAngus bulls that are loaded with genetic superiority that are designed to improve your profitability. Reproductive efficiency and maternal function are the most economically relevant traits in the cattle business, and these red bulls are designed to make highly fertile, long-lasting daughters that produce calves that also grow fast with carcass merit.

Here is a ¾ brother to the bull above with even more carcass superiority. With our Rancher’s Sustainable Angus Alliance, you can sell your weaned calves while also sharing in the extra premiums they earn in the feedlot and on the rail. Just breed bulls like this to cows with enough Angus to ensure that the calves are half Red and or Black Angus and they can qualify for thhis industry-leading program.

This is one of the highest $Profit bulls in the sale. If you like profitable cattle you will like these Augustine sons that are designed to make amazing replacement females with lots of other stars, bells & whistles including industry leading marbling. I remember being the runner up bidder on Augustine when he sold. In hindsight, I would have made lots more money if I had bid again and bought him.

Bid again and remember that bulls are an investment, not a cost. I would have made lots more money had I bought his sire Augustine. Invest in quality during this time of record profits to make your cattle even more profitable.

513

SIMANGUS

This bull leads us back into a powerful group of black SimAngus bulls that are loaded with stars & genetic excellence across the board combined with powerful muscle, length, volume, eye appeal and feet. Notice he inherited Simmental genes for muscle shape that can really fill out a pair of jeans. LOL.

Take a look at the genetic excellence shown in his outstanding percentile ranks for so many traits with exceptionally strong All Purpose Index (API) & Terminal Index (TI) ratings.

515

Here is another Emblem son. It is exciting to produce outstanding genetics generation after generation.

Here is one of the highest $Profit and $Feeder bulls in the sale. Check out his stars that help summarize all the data to show that he is the kind of bull to produce “COWS THAT STAY AND STEERS THAT PAY!”

SIMANGUS

517

These are our first Emblem sons to sell and wow do we love them. They are powerful, long, muscular and loaded with multi-trait genetic excellence.

This may be the most powerful bull in the entire sale. If you like “Front Pasture” eye appeal, you will love this beast!!! And I can’t believe we didn’t get a picture. That is OK, he will be easy to find when you get here. He will be a couple of pens north of our Marketing Center and AI barn. I think Ray Charles and Ronnie Milsap could find this bull!

We love the ability to have more tools in our toolbox to identify the best genetics. We have been using the $Profit database in addition to our breed association databases to produce the most genetically superior cattle in the business. Notice this bull ranks high for all of the $Profit data, earns lots of stars across the board and is an option to use on both cows & heifers.

This powerful Augustine son leads us back into a stout group of red SimAngus bulls that are loaded with genetic excellence. One of the best ways to make great cows is to use hybrid vigor (aka heterosis) by blending the best of two great breeds. Even better is to use genetic lines from each of those breeds that have DNA enhanced EPDs that show they rank at the top of the industry for FERTility & STAYability.

521

SIMANGUS

Here is an Augustine son that is loaded with growth and carcass value. He looks amazing, but keep in mind his docility score of 2.5 shows he sometimes can get more easily excited when sorted off by himself, but he is fine in the group.

Oh my, you will love the power, growth, muscle and carcass value in this meat wagon. He is built like a brick outhouse. This entire group of red bulls selling in a row are super stout, high growth and easy to like. Remember, we want to buy back weaned calves & yearlings that are sired by our bulls and are at least half red or black Angus. Therefore a bull like this on red or black baldy cows or Brangus cows works great.

523

SIMANGUS

Now we transition back into a powerful group of black bulls. We start this group with a bull that is a great choice to use on both cows and heifers. This is a great bull to use on straight Angus or high percentage Angus cows to get maximum hybrid vigor (aka heterosis). He is a Purebred Simmental, but he looks more like an Angus than the Simmentals that my dad started producing the year I was born, 1969.

The high rankings for $Profit and $Feeder keep coming one right after the other and they look great too. We are into a big group of them all in a row with multi-trait excellence as shown by their 4-Star Complete (All Around, All Purpose, All Things Considered) rating.

528

SIMANGUS

If you want to make phenomenal replacement females that are amazingly efficient, then you need this bull. We have been measuring feed efficiency for over a decade which has helped us produce cattle like this that do more with less to improve your profitability and sustainability on the ranch and in the feedyard.

SIMANGUS

WOW – this bull leads us into a group of bulls with amazing genetics to improve the payweight of your cattle at every stage of production. Notice their outstanding percentile ranking for Weaning Weight (WW) and Yearling Weight (YW).

This is a great bull to use on straight Angus or high percentage Angus cows to get maximum hybrid vigor (aka heterosis). He is a Purebred Simmental, but he looks more like an Angus than the Simmental’s dad started producing the year I was born. We have one of the oldest active memberships in the American Simmental Association - #79.

SIMANGUS

541

This bull leads us back into another great looking set of red SimAngus bulls and this powerhouse is loaded with growth and carcass excellence. This is a full brother to the 2nd red SimAngus bull in this sale – lot 510. They would work great together as a pair.

543

546

SIMANGUS

Take a look at this handsome beast pictured below. He is an all-around bull that does so many things well – earning him 4 total stars for his COMPLETE or all-around, multi-trait excellence. He leads back into an excellent group of black SimAngus bulls.

SIMANGUS

SIMANGUS

Who put this sale order together? (oh, I did, and I like to keep some genetic gems buried deep into the sale order). Here is a red SimAngus bull that earned 4 stars across every category. Authentic was the leadoff Red Angus bull in our 49th annual sale and subsequently was snatched up by Genex to lead their Red Angus sire battery. Her dam was selected by Gabe and Kayla Jennings in the fall of 2023, and has average progeny ratios of 104 weaning, 109 yearling, 122 IMF and 116 REA.

It will be difficult to pick between these three half-sisters that sell as Lots 576, 578 & 579. Fortunately, there’s no limit on how many you can take home! Lot 579 comes with exceptional spread from the easiest calving 3% to the heaviest 3% at yearling and 2% at carcass! She’s primed to mass produce that high value “dual purpose” bulls that can be reliably used on heifers, but still has all kinds of growth and carcass to roll right into the cow herd as they mature.

Don’t put Lot 580 anywhere close to the highway unless you want to stop traffic! We’d like a whole herd that looked just like her, with her long, level hip, sweet front end, superior udder quality and tremendous rib shape. Better yet, she packs 11 traits in the top 25% of Red Angus, and her pedigree opens up tremendous mating possibilities – Like her Sure Thing embryos that sell as Lot 581.

Sure Thing x K803 EMBRYOS

4 Embryos

Sure Thing is the highest $Profit red hided Angus bull in the database, and he packages that in a soft flanked, easy fleshing, wide based phenotype. These are the only Sure Thing embryos offered, and they are out of what we consider a prototype Red Angus female. Buyer pays 3 times the bid price and gets the fourth embryo as the guarantee.

RED ANGUS FEMALES

Here’s

who may be the highest producing cow we’ve ever sold in over fifty October sales.

The lot 14 embryo package represents full-siblings to the Lot 582 Cornerstone bred heifer out of Titus’s dam. The donor dam, GTLS Glorify G2701 is one of the most prolific and productive females we’ve ever sold at R.A. Brown Ranch with 27 registered progeny and a whopping MPPA to her credit. Buyer pays 3 times the bid price and gets the fourth embryo as the guarantee.

RED ANGUS FEMALES

WMF Locked & Loaded x G542 EMBRYOS

This mating pairs the dam of Brown Reverend L156, the $40,000 high-selling bull from our October 2024 sale with “Locked & Loaded” the $92,000 high-selling bull from our March 2025 sale. Reverend sold to Koester Red Angus Genex and Koester Red Angus of Steele, ND and is now a featured sire in the Genex Red Angus lineup. His dam, G542 comes with a beautiful front end, tremendous depth and spring of rib, natural thickness and sound udder attachment. Buyer pays 3 times the bid price and gets the fourth embryo as the guarantee.

587

Reverend x K022 EMBRYOS

Well, while we’re selling King Arthur daughters out of famous cow families, how about the donor dam of the lot 587 embryos? She’s a maternal sister to the $36,000 Oracle, the $115,000 Fantastic and End Zone who currently is featured in Select Sires’ lineup. Her dam, is also the maternal grandam of Brown Ideal k1377. These may be the first embryos to sell sired by Brown Reverend L156, the $40,000 high selling bull in our 50th Anniversary sale going to Koester Red Angus and now featured in the Genex Red Angus lineup. Buyer pays 3 times the bid price and gets the fourth embryo as the guarantee.

588

Combining Tahoe and Confidence Plus in one pedigree is almost a guarantee of powerful phenotype. Lot 588 more than lives up to that promise, but she’s way more than just a pretty face. She’s chocked full of genetics to add value to your customers’ calf crops, and blows past the top 1% for both $Feeder and GridMaster. Her mating to Majority could usher in a new era of outcross genetics with his “off-the-charts” Red Angus EPDs for calving ease, pay-weight, gain, marbling and ribeye.

We love the natural thickness, fleshing ability and slick hair coat of our Tahoe daughters so it’s tough to part with Lots 588 and 589. Lot 589 delivers tremendous horsepower and comes from a highly fertile cow family. Her dam maintains a 363-day calving interval and had her 2nd calf 5 weeks prior to her 3rd birthday. Her maternal grandam has produced 32 registered progeny for ourselves and Double A Cattle Co. in Roscoe, TX.

RED ANGUS FEMALES

590

You’ll have to buy Lots 591, 592 and 593 to make sure you get the best Gratitude daughter, but Lot 592 makes a strong case for herself, and like her sister that just sold excels for growth, gain, marbling, muscularity and feed efficiency. Her 105 MPPA donor dam sold to Ard Ranch of Kingfisher, OK in the fall of 2023.

593 comes with added dimensions of calving ease, Fertility EPD and cow herd traits without giving up any ground for rate of gain or carcass merit. She comes with a Sure Thing heifer baby in her belly so this could be two donor dams for the price of one!

RED ANGUS FEMALES

We’re back to embryos out of the dam to the $120,000 Brown JVCC Authentic K104, but this time they are sired by the $38,000, Wedel Grand Slam 3377. These embryos will be 5/8 siblings to Authentic and will combine calving ease, growth and marbling, but their pedigree projects even better Fertility, $Ranch and $Feeder. Buyer pays 3 times the bid price and gets the fourth embryo as the guarantee.

Lot 596 leads a pair of _ sisters. We love this combination: the udder quality and elite marbling of Genuine paired with the performance, fleshing ability and natural thickness of Confidence Plus. Both of these heifers are bred to Brown SW2W Duke K6720 the full brother to “Noble” who sold at this same event two years ago for $36,000 to M3 and Double A Cattle Companies. The heifer calves they carry will be 7/8 sisters!

RED ANGUS FEMALES

598 RAB Genuine x J719 EMBRYOS

If you missed out on either of the two beautiful Genuine daughters that just sold as Lots 596 & 597, we’re giving you a mulligan. Lot 598 features embryos sired by Genuine and out of the amazing 104 MPPA donor dam, J719 that sold back at Lot 573. Talk about flawless udder conformation, combining Genuine with J719 should make them as good as it gets! Buyer pays 3 times the bid price and gets the fourth embryo as the guarantee.

Lot 600’s pedigree is stacked with some of the most proven sires in both the Angus and Red Angus populations. Her maternal grandsire, has nearly 10,000 progeny records with over 2500 daughters. We’ve built our Black/Red outcross genetics on the dependability and reliability that comes with high accuracy sires. Lot 600’s dam has been one of the most prolific Sure Fire daughters we’ve owned producing 30 registered progeny for ourselves, Schuster Farms and Leachman Cattle of Colorado.

Outcross genetics with progeny data that is unavailable in the Red Angus population is one of the primary reasons we’ve invested so deeply in our black/red program. Lot 601 stacks Confidence Plus on Absolute on Retail Product – three Angus sires that total over 28,000 registered progeny. That level of proof means a bunch when you pair it with her 11 traits in the top one-quarter of breed.

RED ANGUS FEMALES

Lot 603 could more than pay for herself when she drops a Locked and Loaded heifer calf in 5 months. Just

the

EPDs. It is likely that a red Locked & Loaded progeny will be born from his mating to one of the exceptional 4-year-old black red cows in this offering, and equally likely that a homozygous black Angus that is registerable in the American Angus will come from a similar mating. Each would be incredibly unique in their respective populations.

If your customers want to sell more pounds of PRIME, you’ll be wanting them to use sons of Lot 604, who combines best of breed pay-weight with equally impressive marbling. Her maternal-grandam is the dam of Brown SW2W Noble K6728, who sold for $36,000 in this very sale two years earlier.

Locked & Loaded x G1723 EMBRYOS

The dam of the Lot 605 embryos is a maternal-sister to the $36,000 Brown SW2S Noble K6728, as well as Brown SW2W Duke K6720, who is the service sire to many females in this sale offering. Her tremendous natural thickness, depth of rib, amazing growth EPDs and best of breed feed efficiency is going to be exciting paired with Locked and Loaded’s elite marbling, calving ease, fertility and post-weaning value. Buyer pays 3 times the bid price and gets the fourth embryo as the guarantee.

Locked & Loaded was the $92,000 high-selling bull in our March 2025 sale, and his owners decided to hold semen off the open market for at least one year. The embryos and service offered through this sale provide everyone the opportunity to get in on the ground floor. The donor dam of the Lot 606 embryos comes with all the quality grade genetics hoped for in a Genuine daughter, but adds an extra dimension of pay-weight and gain. Buyer pays 3 times the bid price and gets the fourth embryo as the guarantee.

Locked & Loaded x 5033 EMBRYOS

If you appreciate fertility and longevity in your cow herd, take a look at the Lot 607 Locked & Loaded embryo package. This sound uddered, 10-year-old donor dam more than keeps up with her younger contemporaries with better than 1% for Fertility EPD and lifetime progeny averages of: 107 weaning, 107 yearling and 108 IMF. Buyer pays 3 times the bid price and gets the fourth embryo as the guarantee.

Don’t

Lot 609 is the cure for Yield Grade discounts, lower carcass weights and inefficient post-weaning feed conversion. Mass produce sons from her and fix any of the above short comings in your customers close outs! Her performance and ribeye area come honestly, her dam has average progeny ratios of: 109 weaning, 105 yearling and 119 REA.

RED ANGUS FEMALES

This attractive King Arthur daughter comes with built in ROI! She should drop a Titus heifer just after the first of the year, so your herd will get younger and better at twice the speed. Titus crushes the economically relevant traits with big time spread from CED to YW. No other Energize son can compare to Titus’ combinations of Fertility, Feed Efficiency and Profitability across all segments of the Beef Supply Chain!

When we said don’t overthink the sale order, we weren’t kidding. We’ve got fewer than 20 lots to go, and here’s a deep ribbed, wide sprung Swagger daughter might best our best overall performer from the 2024 calf crop, posting ratios of: 118 weaning, 112 yearling, 135 IMF and 112 REA.

Lot 613 combines some of the most influential females to ever produce bulls that have sold through our sale. Her dam, G1685 has been a donor for ourselves and more recently, Mathias Ranch in Gentry Arkansas and has average progeny ratios of: 109 weaning, 105 yearling, 101 IMF and 108 REA. Her paternal grandam, 951G sells Tuesday, Oct 7th in our elite Angus Female sale and is the dam of Brown JR Gratitude 9690J, the high selling bull from our March 2023 sale and our top Angus semen sales sire over the past two years.

RED ANGUS FEMALES

614

The donor dam of Lot 614 is a half-sister to the $100,000, LSF SRR President 8177F and sold to Ard Farms in Kingfisher, Oklahoma in the fall of 2023. She comes with a heifer pregnancy by G A R Wallace, who “doubles” up the top 1% for both Marbling and GridMaster. Be sure to study the study the fetal EPDs on what could be your next donor dam.

This heifer’s sire, Gratitude has been our high Angus semen sales sire over the last two years. He sires added horsepower, superior carcass merit and powerful phenotype without getting out of bounds for birth weight or mature size. Her 108 MPPA maternal-grandam has served as a donor for ourselves as well as Mathias Ranch.

There’s plenty of horsepower under the hood of this front pasture daughter of Prime Time. Her genomic data contributed to one of highest ADG EPDs in the entire sale. If you like them deep and wide, make sure she’s on your short list.

RED ANGUS FEMALES

618

Here’s a heifer that could have started the sale and she’s in the last lots to go we find an own daughter

and she comes by those breed leading EPDs honestly, She earned ratios of: 105 weaning, 110 yearling, and 127 IMF.

fertility and feed efficiency individuals in the entire offering can be 10 lots from the bottom of the sale.

Here’s a Blue Light Special with less than 10 lots to go. The Titus heifer baby that comes in this young President donor dam means you could be buying two donor cows for the price of one. Lot 621 has worked well for us as a donor, and we have some very promising Kingston and High Security progeny out of her.

RED ANGUS FEMALES

We start this last run of Black/Red bred heifers with a female that exemplifies how important it is to study this catalog until the very last female. Her Red Angus EPDs and $Profit indices will compare with any female in the sale. If she had been a bull she could have started the Red Angus bull sale as well. Her mating to Sure Thing will feature the mating of two $30,000+ Red Angus parents – you don’t see that every day!

Lot 625 is the paternal half-sister to Lot 624, and like her knocks it out of the park for $Ranch and the most economically relevant trait – Fertility. She also has two maternal-sisters out of our donor dam, Brown Ms Confidence J1801 that sell as: Lots 617 and 627. Also, make sure to study the bull sale catalog as she has several maternal half-brothers selling.

RED ANGUS FEMALES

This final female in the offering features the service of Brown Stump Locked & Loaded, the $92,000 high-selling bull from our March 2025 sale. This mating will feature a sire and maternal grandsire who are both over a 1.20 marbling, which easily surpasses the top 1% of Red Angus. Maternal sisters sell as Lots Lots 617 and 627.

Calves that Earn PRIME Premiums, Fertile Females that Stay in the Herd

Gratitude’s outstanding fertility, calving ease, and pay-weight all translate to more product delivered to market. Gratitude makes better Angus cattle with improved: docility, foot structure, scrotal circumference, and hair shedding.

Profit is often won or lost in the cow herd, and Longmire’s “off-the-charts” fertility EPD will correct generations of single trait selection on end-product traits. All potential carriers of any of these defects will be tested with the results printed in this catalog or in the Sale Day Supplement. Animals tested as a carrier of one of these genes are noted with a (C) after the abbreviation. In the case that an animal is homozygous for that gene, then they will be listed with an (A) after the abbreviation.

These guarantees are effective for a period of two years from the date of sale only under the following conditions. a) The Purchaser shall notify the Seller in writing immediately upon the birth of a calf suspected of being defective or immediately after determination is made that such calf is defective, or if parentage is suspected or found to be in error. b) The Seller, at his expense, shall be permitted and provided, with reasonable opportunity, to obtain DNA samples of an alleged defective calf and its sire and dam for the purpose of DNA analysis to establish parenthood. In the case of suspect parentage, the Purchaser at his expense, shall be permitted and provided with reasonable opportunity to obtain DNA samples of the animal in question and its sire and dam for the purpose of blood type/DNA analysis to establish parenthood.
