Eye on the Latin School
Pro-Life Oratory Contest
This May, the Squires participated in the annual Our Lady of Guadalupe Pro-Life Oratory Contest, which is a collaborative project in the English and Religion classes. Each student had the opportunity to write an essay on a pro-life topic of his or her choosing. Faculty member Ms. Theresa Vogel ’16 stated, “The purpose of this contest is to create an awareness and understanding among our students of the different facets of pro-life concerns and the ways in which these issues affect our lives. Their essays are a wonderful testament to their faith as well as their writing skills.” Congratulations to the winners: first-place Alexandra Pilock ’26 (right); second-place Anthony Perrone ’26 (left); and third-place Nalanie Crooks ’26 (center).
