Service
Circle K service day It’s 24 hours of pure service. Our biggest event of the year happens each November, bringing in Circle K members from around the state and students from around the University of Michigan, raising hundreds of dollars, and of course, completing thousands of service hours. Check out all the amazing projects and shenanigans everyone partook in during CKSD this year as we blasted off into service.
Novi Pet Expo From left to right: Oscar Mota, Gabby Young, Jhuree Hong, and Courtney Beauchamp posing with Care Bears at the Last Day Dog Rescue booth!
Leuk’s Landing Members of the Wayne State and University of Michigan Circle K petting and taking care of some kitties at Leuk’s Landing.
CKSD MoD Marine Corps Ball Right: From left to right – Lucy Zheng and Philip Glover of Georgia Circle K with Nicolette Williams and her mother Julanne of Ann Arbor Kiwanis. They helped set up tables and prepare the space for the March of Dimes Marine Corps Ball.
Pony Bead KeyCHain Making Left: Volunteers helped create keychains out of pony beads, making all sorts of animals and shapes by twisting together beads and string.
Ann arbor turkey trot Peter Chen and Katie Amidon get suited up to help with the Ann Arbor Turkey Trot, which supported the ChadTough foundation. They, along with Jhuree Hong, helped cheer on participants and hand out food or water!
CKSD From LT pie-ing to welcoming back alumni to doing service with Circle K clubs around the U.S., Circle K sure knows how to make 24 hours of service fun and meaningful!

Snowpia a
A Michigan district event
Snowpia was actually my first CK district wide event so I didn’t know what to expect, but it’s ended up being a lot of fun. I was actually assigned an event at gleaners I did way back in high school since I lived pretty close to wayne state at the time. I was also able to reconnect with people from my high school, interact with new people and watch them all lose to Jacob at musical chairs. It was essentially a throw back, but in a fresh, fun way!
- Diana Yassin, K-Fam Committee Member
Aside from hanging out with good friends from different universities around Michigan, I was able to volunteer at Auntie Na’s in Detroit. It was so inspiring to see how she is doing everything she can to improve the life of those in her neighborhood with whatever means she has.

Inductions Fall 2018
Each fall Circle K welcomes many new members to our ranks. We officially recognize their commitment with a membership pin, card, and certificate. At the end of the ceremony, we recite the Circle K International pledge, showing our passion and duty to the club. Check out some of the new members who joined below, and also the executive board and some guests from the MSU Circle K!
