FROM THE PRESIDENT Marshfield Community Theatre is celebrating its 15th year!

Thank you for letting us grow into our teenage years. Without your continued support, we could not exist and continue to grow.

It has been our pleasure to perform for you and it is our wish to continue bringing excellence in theatre to our wonderful town.

This is a very exciting time for us as we search for our forever home. Our most pressing issue to date is that we don’t have a permanent performance venue of our own and we have to depend on the community to let us “take over” their churches and business establishments. We want to thank all the venues that have allowed MCT to transform their place and make it ours. We as a theatre are truly blessed to live in a community as giving as Marshfield.

FROM THE DIRECTOR This is my first time directing a show for MCT and I’ve had so much fun working with this cast of kids!

I’ve enjoyed serving MCT the past 5ish years, from being on stage, to helping offstage, to my first term on the board. I look forward to the future of MCT and continuing to use the talents God has given me to serve this amazing group.

When I’m not at the theater you can find me working my part time job as Foundation Coordinator for the Marshfield Area Community Foundation, running my online boutique called Diamond in the Rust, and planning events for my other side hustle-Brand Events.

I’m thankful for my amazing husband Michael (we celebrated 10 years of marriage during this show) for always supporting my dreams and taking care of our three boys while I’ve been with my Farm Family every night!

I truly hope you enjoy this show, we have given it our all!

SYNOPSIS This exciting, musical version of Charlotte’s Web brings a new dimension to E.B. White’s beloved classic.

This is the story of a little pig named Wilbur who was born a runt, and Mr. Arable decides to kill him!

But, his daughter Fern comes to Wilbur’s rescue and takes him in as a pet. From there, Wilbur meets a ton of new friends, including a spider named Charlotte.

As Wilbur’s place on the farm –– and his very life! –– hang in the balance, it’s up to Charlotte to save him!

Director Bios Kelby Lorenz, Producer Kelby has been an active member of MCT for several years, performing in a variety of shows over the years.

Kelby has worked behind the scenes the last four years, starting as the Assistant Technical Director for Into the Woods, then Technical Director for Annie Get Your Gun, Beauty and the Beast, Shrek: the Musical and Nunsense. He was also the Stage Manager for Shrek.

This year, Kelby flexed his media muscles by helping manage MCT social media accounts, take photos of productions, create promotional videos and email campaigns. Kelby graduated from Lindenwood University in May 2017, where he studied Advertising, Public Relations and Journalism. He is the Content Editor for Evangel University in Springfield, where he designs, edits and writes for their two alumni magazines, writes blog content and manages their social media accounts.

Amber Brand, Director Amber has been with MCT for two years now. Amber has helped with previous children’s shows, most recently as the Assistant Director for Alice in Wonderland. This year, Amber took on the responsibility of being a member of the MCT Board of Directors.

Amber is married to her amazing husband, Michael, and has three boys: Tyson, Slate and Rock.

Sarah Kuhn, Assistant Director Sarah has been involved with MCT for one year, also helping as the Props Mom and Assistant to the Assitant Director for Alice in Wonderland. Sarah says her future plans include living in Prague, owning a shoe store – which her kids think she’s well on her way to! – and owning a chocolate factory.

Heather Tiff, Music Director This is Heather’s first show with MCT! Heather has 26 years of experience working in music, film, dance and theatre from coast-to-coast. She placed at the World Championshiop of Performing Arts in 2003, winning the silver medal in Broadway and bronze medal in country singing (the competition had people from 40 different countries!)

Heather trained at the Perry Mansfield Performing Arts School for four years, and acted in her first feature film at age 6. She has been in numerous shows, inlcuding: Chicago, Carosel, Children’s Hour, Laramarie Project and Into the Woods.

Heather is married to her supportive husband Mike, and has three amazing children: Bryce, 15, Austyn, 10 and Ava, 7.

Danielle Boggs, Choreographer Danielle’s daughter and mother-in-law pulled her into MCT eight years ago and she has enjoyed every minute! Danielle currently serves as MCT’s Vice-President and has been on the directorial team of several children’s productions, including School House Rock, Jr., and

Honk, Jr. She has also been heavily involved in MCT’s Haunted Houses. Danielle has served as the Webster County Public Administrator since 2013. She is married to Robbie Boggs and has three amazing daughters, Daphne, Delilah, and Juliet.

Kim Barlow – Character Development Specialist Kim started her career with MCT in 2011. She currently serves as MCT’s Treasurer and anything else that’s needed just like everyone else involved in plays! Kim has been the Assistant Director for Shrek: the Musical, Beauty And The Beast, Into The Woods and Annie Get Your Gun. She has also been Co-Director for Robin Hood, Jr. and Directed Disney’s Jungle Book, Jr. She is looking forward to Directing Aladdin, Jr., MCT’s next kid’s play in 2019! She loves her kids Alan and Amy, her MCT family, and would like anyone interested in having fun to join MCT! Sue Esquivel & Erika Fields – Costumers Sue is the lead producer and advertising team leader. She enjoys all parts of the show.

Sue has been known to do any and all parts of the back stage show with few exceptions.

Currently serving as MCT President, she has pushed many of us to do new things looking for our super powers.

Erica has costumed entire MCT shows by herself. Erika began her journey with MCT in 2012 playing Shelby in Steel Magnolias. Although she loves being on stage and enjoys all things theater, her heart is in designing and constructing costumes. Erika finds creative inspiration for her costumes in unique thrift store finds and vintage clothing. She loves spending time reflecting upon the characters and then sketching a design to accentuate unique personalities. Being a part of the MCT creative team has allowed Erika to explore her artistry through costuming and meet many incredibly talented friends along the way.

She loves her MCT family!

Bios Brooklyn Aikins is playing the role of Chicken. This is Brooklyn’s first performance with MCT! Brooklyn is in the fifth grade at Shook Elementary. Brooklyn is the daughter of Ryan and Heidi Aikins. Brooklyn’s future plans include being either a teacher, nurse or gymnast.

Hudson Aikins is playing the role of Homer. Hudson has been involved with MCT for the last three years, also appearing in the production of Robin Hood. Hudson is in the ninth grade at Marshfield High School. Other theatrical credits include productions with Hillside Christian Church. Hudson is the son of Ryan and Heidi Aikins.

Caleb Becht is playing the role of Young Kid. This is Caleb’s first show with MCT! Caleb is in Kindergarten at Niangua Elementary School. Caleb is the son of Chad and Desi Becht. Caleb’s future plans include working really hard to keep getting roles in MCT plays!

Huck Bigley is playing the role of Bug-Eyed Kid. This is Huck’s first show with MCT! Huck is in Kindergarten here in Marshfield. Huck is the son of Jim and Emily Bigley.

Huck’s future plans include becoming a fireman.

Delilah Boggs is playing the role of Goose. Delilah has been involved with MCT for the last eight years, also appearing in productions of Alice in Wonderland, Honk, Jr., and Jungle Book, Jr. Delilah is in the seventh grade at Marshfield Jr. High School.

Other theatrical credits include Pioneer Day, Christmas Holiday, and Out-of-theBox Christmas. Delilah is the daughter of Robert and Danielle Boggs. Delilah’s future plans include moving to Wonderland and crashing in the heart castle.

Juliet Boggs is playing the role of Templeton. Juliet has been involved with MCT for the last seven years, also appearing in three haunted houses, Jungle Book, Jr., and Robin Hood, Jr. Juliet is in the fifth grade at Shook Elementary. Other theatrical credits include Out-of-the-Box Christmas, Timber Ridge’s Nativity Scene and Time Travel Christmas. Juliet is the daughter of Robbie and Danielle Boggs. Juliet’s future plans include becoming a vet, and eventually owning her own private island.

Kiara Brawn is playing the role of Bat. This is Kiara’s first show with MCT! Kiara is in the sixth grade at Fordland Middle School. Kiara is the daughter of Daniel and Veronica Brawn. Kiara’s future plans include being the star.

Lenexa Butler is playing the role of Edith Zuckerman. This is Lenexa’s first show with MCT! Lenexa is the daughter of Daniel and Staci Butler. Lenexa’s future plans involve being in more shows.

Cricket Cantrell is playing the role of Gosling. Cricket has been involved with MCT for two years, also appearing in Jungle Book, Jr. Cricket is currently attending Mrs. Sue’s Daycare. Cricket is the daughter of Jenn Smith and Vance Cantrell. Cricket’s future plans include being a princess!

Tosha Christensen is playing the role of Gosling. This is Tosha’s first performance with MCT! Tosha attends Miss Sue’s Daycare. Tosha is the daughter of Sara Munsey and Jonathon Christensen. While Tosha loves being a gosling, she hopes to one day be a duck.

Emilee Eoff is playing the role of Townsperson. This Emilee’s first show with MCT! Emilee is in the third grade at Webster Elementary. Other theatrical credits include Annie, Rudolph, and The Nightmare Before Christmas. Emilee is the daughter of Echo Kays and Craig Eoff. Emilee’s future plans include continuing to act and dance.

Alyssa Faubion is playing the role of Reporter. This is Alyssa’s first performance with MCT! Alyssa is in the fourth grade at Fair Grove Elementary. Other theatrical credits include Cinderella and the Best Christmas Pageant Ever. Alyssa is the daughter of Jeremy and Emily Faubion. Alyssa’s future plans include being a famous singer.

Juniper Fields is playing the role of Gosling. Juniper has been involved with MCT for three years, also appearing in Jungle Book, Jr. Juniper is in Kindergarten and is homeschooled. Juniper is the daughter of George and Erika Fields. Juniper’s future plans include becoming an artist.

Jade Foster is playing the role of Gosling. Jade has been involved with MCT for one year, also appearing in Jungle Book, Jr. Jade is the daughter of Jonathan and Michelle Foster. Jade’s future plans include becoming a police woman and a babysitter. Plus, she would really like a princess toy!

Emily Grooms is playing the role of Spectator. Emily has been involved with MCT for the last two years, also appearing in productions of Jungle Book, Jr. and Alice in Wonderland. Emily is in the fifth grade at Shook Elementary. Emily is the daughter of Terri and Jim Grooms. Emily’s future plans include pursuing her dream of being a singer.

Dixie Hardin is playing the role of Fairgoer. This is Dixie’s first show with MCT! Dixie is in the fourth grade at Shook Elementary. Dixie is the daughter of Roy Hardin, Sr. and Wendi Hardin. Dixie’s future plans include being a cook and librarian.

Roy Hardin, Jr. is playing the role of Townsperson. This is Roy’s first show with MCT! Roy is in the first grade at Hubble Elementary. Roy is the son of Roy Hardin, Sr. and Wendi Hardin. Roy’s future plans include wrestling and joining the Army.

Savannah Hardin is playing the role of Townsperson. This is Savannah’s first show with MCT! Savannah is in the fourth grade at Shook Elementary. Savannah is the daughter of Roy Hardin, Sr. and Wendi Hardin. Savannah’s future plans include becoming a singer or vet.

Ellie Hartman is playing the roles of Spectator and Lady. Ellie has been involved with MCT for the last six years, also appearing in Honk, Jr., Alice in Wonderland, and Jungle Book, Jr. Ellie is in the eighth grade at Marshfield Jr. High School. Other theatrical credits include two MCT Haunted Houses, church programs and Lights, Camera, Action. Ellie is the daughter of Josh and Angela Hartman. Ellie’s future plans include being an epidemiologist or criminal investigator.

Adeline Henderson is playing the role of Gosling. This is Adeline’s first show with MCT! Adeline is two years old, and the daughter of Kent and Angela Henderson.

Cole Henderson is playing the role of Voice. This is Cole’s first show with MCT! Cole is in Kindergarten, and the son of Kent and Angela Henderson. Cole’s future plans include being a rockstar.

Carly Henslee is playing the role of Fairgoer. This is Carly’s first show with MCT! Carly is in the third grade and is homeschooled. Other theatrical credits include An Emoji Christmas and A Star Wars Christmas. Carly is the daughter of Steve and Holli Henslee.

Hayden Hilton is playing the role of Reporter. This is Hayden’s first show with MCT! Hayden is in the third grade at Webster Elementary. Other theatrical credits involve theater camps with Springfield Little Theatre and shows with Springfield Public Schools. Hayden is the daughter of Mike and Crystal Hilton. Hayden’s future plans include living in a treehouse in the rainforest and protecting her wild friends.

Austin Hoffman is playing the role of Rooster. Austin has been involved with MCT for one year, also appearing in Shrek the Musical. Austin is in the sixth grade at Marshfield Jr. High School. Austin is the son of Randy and Angie Hoffman. Austin’s future plans include more acting and bunking with Shrek.

Abby Hollingsworth is playing the role of Charlotte. This is Abby’s first performance with MCT! Abby is in fifth grade at Shook Elementary. Other theatrical credits include The Best Christmas Pageant Ever and Let Them See You. Abby is the daughter of Jacie and David Hollingsworth. Abby’s future plans include being an author, teacher and librarian.

Mylie Hyder is playing the role of Sheep. Mylie has been involved with MCT for the last three years, also appearing in Jungle Book, Jr. Mylie is in the fifth grade and is homeschooled. Mylie is the daughter of George and Erika Fields, and Michael Hyder.

Mylie’s future plans include becoming an actress and reading the Harry Potter book as many times as she can.

Lilly Ireland is playing the role of Spider 1. This is Lilly’s first show with MCT! Lilly is the daughter of Jody Ireland. Lilly’s future plans include being a dancer and marine biologist.

Anabel Johnson is playing the role of Townsperson. This is Anabel’s first show with MCT! Anabel is in Kindergarten at Hubble Elementary. Anabel is the daughter of Jeremy and Brooke Johnson. Anabel’s future plans include becoming a doctor.

Lily Johnson is playing the role of Fairgoer. Lily has been involved with MCT for four years, also appearing in Honk, Jr. and Jungle Book, Jr. Lily is in the fifth grade at Shook Elementary. Lily is the daughter of Jeremy and Brooke Johnson. Lily’s future plans include being an Olympic gymnast.

Majlin Johnson is playing the role of Cakewoman. Majlin has been involved with MCT for two years, also appearing in productions of Alice in Wonderland. Majlin has just completed the seventh grade at Marshfield Junior High School. Other theatrical credits include Marshfield High School’s production of Little Shop of Horrors. Majlin is the daughter of Deven and Brandee Johnson. Majlin’s future plans include going to BYU and becoming a chemical engineer.

Remington Kenyon is playing the role of Gosling. This is Remi’s first show with MCT! Remington is in Preschool! Remington is the daughter of Bill and Casi Kenyon.

Remi’s future plans include being a baker.

Maggie Key is playing the role of Gander. Maggie has been involved with MCT for a few years, also appearing in Willie Wonka, Jr. and Jungle Book, Jr. Maggie is in the sixth grade, and is homeschooled. Maggie is the daughter of Sam and Melissa Key. Maggie’s future plans include being an actress and comic book artist.

Braxtin Kuhn is playing the role of Barker. Braxtin has been involved with MCT for one year. Braxtin is in the second grade at Fordland Elementary. Other theatrical credits include helping backstage during Alice in Wonderland. Braxtin is the son of Sarah and Josh Kuhn. Braxtin’s future plans include being a chef.

Sierra Ledgerwood is playing the role of Townsperson. This is Sierra’s first show with MCT! Sierra is in Kindergarten in Marshfield. Sierra is the daughter of Jeremiah and Amanda Ledgerwood. Sierra’s future plans include competing in American Ninja Warrior.

Zandra Magaña is playing the role of Announcer and Concessionaire. This is Zandra’s first show with MCT! Zandra is in the fourth grade at Shook Elementary. Zandra is the daughter of Monica Robinson. Zandra’s future plans include starting a business in mental therapy.

Aliyah Manley is playing the role of Reporter. Aliyah has been involved with MCT for two years, also appearing in Jungle Book, Jr. Aliyah is in the third grade at Webster Elementary. Aliyah is the daughter of Melissa Gilbert, and the niece of Michelle Foster.

Aliyah’s future plans include working at Walmart and being in more plays! (Plus, she really wants a phone!)

Taylor McDowell is playing the role of Townsperson. This is Taylor’s first performance with MCT! Taylor has just completed the fifth grade at Shook Elementary. Taylor is the daughter of Trey and Katie McDowell. Taylor’s future plans include being a veterinarian and training mules.

Mayra “Lilly” Miller is playing the role of Spider 3. This is Lilly’s first show with MCT! Lilly is in Kindergarten. Lilly’s future plans include becoming a superhero!

Evey Moore is playing the role of Townsperson. This is Evey’s first show with MCT! Evey is in Kindergarten and is homeschooled. Evey is the daughter of Jabe and Nikki Moore. Evey’s future plans include becoming a veterinarian.

Jewel Moore is playing the role of Townsperson. This is Jewel’s first show with MCT! Jewel is in the third grade and is homeschooled. Jewel is the daughter of Jabe and Nikki Moore. Jewel’s future plans include becoming an inventor.

Lillian Myers is playing the role of Fern. Lillian has been involved with MCT for two years, also appearing in Jungle Book, Jr. Lillian is in the third grade at Webster Elementary. Lillian is the daughter of Andy and Rachel Myers. Lillian’s future plans include being a paleontologist.

Bryna Norman is playing the role of Owl. Bryna has been involved with MCT for four years, also appearing in productions of Robin Hood, Jr., Jungle Book, Jr., and MCT’s Haunted House. Bryna is in the seventh grade at Marshfield Junior High School.

Other theatrical credits include Little Shop of Horrors. Bryna is the daughter of Andrea Adamson. Bryna’s future plans include being a scientist.

Nevyn Nunn is playing the role of Sack Racer. This is Nevyn’s first show with MCT! Nevyn is in the second grade at Marshfield. Nevyn is the son of Rickie and Rachel Nunn. Nevyn wants to eventually become a police officer.

Rainy Pickel is playing the role of Wilbur. This is Rainy’s first show with MCT! Rainy is in the sixth grade at Marshfield Junior High School. Annabelle Runyon is playing the role of Townsperson. Annabelle has been involved with MCT for the past two years, also appearing in Jungle Book, Jr. Annabelle is in the second grade at Webster Elementary. Annabelle is the daughter of Kevin and Michelle Runyon. Annabelle’s future plans include becoming a veterinarian.

Keaton Runyon is playing the role of Farmer. This is Keaton’s first show with MCT! Keaton is in the first grade at Hubble Elementary. Keaton is the son of Kevin and Michelle Runyon. Keaton’s future plans include pursuing his dream of being a roller coaster designer.

Emma Sandbothe is playing the role of Chicken. This is Emma’s first show with MCT! Emma is in Kindergarten at Hubble Elementary. Emma is the daughter of Ron and Betsy Sandbothe. Emma’s future plans include becoming a Kindergarten teacher.

Karter Sarabia is playing the role of Sack Racer. This is Karter’s first show with MCT! Karter is in the first grade at Marshfield. Karter is the son of Tasha and Ryan Sarabia.

Karter’s future plans include becoming a dancer.

Roman Smith is playing the role of Rooster. Roman has been involved with MCT for the last two years, helping backstage in different shows. Roman is in the fourth grade at Shook Elementary. Roman is the son of Jenn Smith. Roman’s future plans include being a racecar driver.

Ian Thompson is playing the role of Avery. Ian has been involved with MCT for the last four years, also appearing in productions of Jungle Book, Jr., Alice in Wonderland, and Shrek: the Musical. Ian is in fifth grade and Shook Elementary. Other theatrical credits include Christmas Carol. Ian is the son of Ashley and Matthew Thompson.

Ian’s future plans include pursuing acting and being famous.

Austyn Tiff is playing the role of Lamb. Austyn has been with MCT for one year, also performing in Alice in Wonderland. Austyn is in the fifth grade at Shook Elementary.

Austyn is the daughter of Mike and Heather Tiff. Austyn’s future plans include pursuing gymnastics, being a teacher and growing different colored potatoes.

Ava Tiff is playing the role of Gosling. Ava has been involved with MCT for one year.

Ava is in the first grade. Ava is the daughter of Mike and Heather Tiff. Ava’s future plans include becoming a vet, cat owner and singer.

Bryce Tiff is playing the role of John. Bryce has been involved with MCT for the last three years, also appearing in productions of Alice in Wonderland. Bryce is in the ninth grade at Marshfield High School. Other theatrical credits include Perry Mansfield, Eurydice and Little Shop of Horrors. Bryce is the son of Mike and Heather Tiff. Bryce’s future plans include pursuing acting, and going pro in soccer.

Olive Tindall is playing the role of Photographer. This is Olive’s first show with MCT! Olive is in the third grade at Marshfield. Olive is the daughter of Lisa Tindall. Olive’s future plans include being an art teacher.

Cougar VanNest is playing the role of Photographer. This is Cougar’s first show with MCT! Cougar is in the fourth grade at Shook Elementary. Cougar is the son of Kirsten VanNest. Cougar’s future plans include being a policeman, construction worker or photographer.

Brooklyn Ward is playing the role of Spider 2. This is Brooklyn’s first performance with MCT! Brooklyn is in the first grade at Hubble Elementary. Other theatrical credits include singing with the Hubble Hatchlings. Brooklyn is the daughter of Virginia and Adam Moore. Brooklyn’s future plans include being an artist.

Clayton Wester is playing the roles of Lurvey and Uncle (Pig). Clayton has been involved with MCT for one year, also appearing in Alice in Wonderland and Shrek: the Musical. Clayton is in the eighth grade at Marshfield Junior High School. Other performance credits include Jr. Jay Singers. Clayton is the son of Steve and Kim Wester.

Clayton’s future plans include becoming a meteorologist and storm chaser.

Shelby White is playing the role of Chicken. Shelby has been involved with MCT for three years, also appearing in Jungle Book, Jr., and MCT’s Haunted House. Shelby is in the third grade at Webster Elementary. Shelby is the son of Jon and Olena White.

Shelby’s future plans include playing professional paintball.

Torye Williams is playing the role of Cakewoman. This is Torye’s first performance with MCT! Torye is in the fourth grade at Shook. Torye is the daughter of Rich and Beth Williams. Torye’s future plans include finishing school, then moving to Texas to be a teacher.

Eric Willis is playing the role of Official. Eric has been involved with MCT for two years, also appearing in Alice in Wonderland and Shrek: The Musical. Eric is in the seventh grade at Strafford Middle School. Eric is the son of Kyle and Christy Willis.

Eric’s future plans include continuing to act and to work in the science field.

Lyssa Willis is playing the role of Martha Arable. Lyssa has been involved with MCT for two years, also appearing in Shrek: The Musical and Alice in Wonderland. Lyssa is in the ninth grade at Strafford. Other theatrical credits include Tarzan, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory and Thoroughly Modern Millie. Lyssa is the daughter of Kyle and Christy Willis. Lyssa’s future plans include becoming a teacher and continuing at MCT!

Any item purchased at the Marshfield Price Cutter store, with some exceptions, will go toward money you could give back to MCT. If you spent a qualifying $50.00, then MCT will get $1.00.
