Keko –inspired by Neko the Japanese word for Cat (Cat being the founder) and fusing the Japanese origin name Keiko which is a feminine name often translated as "happy child".

Delightfully, Keko possesses a whole array of joyful possibilities.

– Perfect for dressing in happiness.

Studio –a room where an atelier and artist works.

A design studio or drawing office is a workplace for designers and artisans engaged in conceiving, – designing and developing new products or objects.

OUR FOUNDER Cat Woods Founder & CEO Keko Studio was born out of the idea of feeling good when wearing clothing.

After over two decades of designing for large global fashion brands, I became disillusioned by some of the practices I saw going on behind the scenes.

I wanted to take a big step away and build my passion for a sustainable fashion system, building new ways that do not have a negative impact on the planet and humanity.

Keko Studio - Stands for if its made well, ethically and without the use of plastics, you would feel good about buying our clothing. But not only because of this reason but because the clothing is beautiful and when worn you feel fabulous.

If you look good, you feel good.

As an emotional dresser, I always know when I have that perfect piece in my wardrobe that makes me feel good, confident and happy when I wear it but I struggled to find things like this.

So, I designed my own; a bold printed, detailed and versatile collection designed to be styled differently and worn by all shapes and sizes, all expressing themselves beautifully and individually and with the added benefit of making them feel amazing.

If we feel good when we are wearing our clothes, we glow from within!

Our clothing is made from natural fibres or high quality low impact viscoses, manufactured in accredited high craftsmanship factories with superb credentials and all designed to be worn many ways and many times.

Our goal is to have a fully circular business model with zero waste.

Offering a resell, recycle or upcyling opportunities for Keko Studio goods.

We are slow fashion and do not sell in seasons - designed for all year use and to be worn time after time.

We advocate: Washing less often and at 30 degrees benefits your clothes and the planet.

Less energy is consumed by minimising washing machine cycles and heating water to a lower temperature.

Washing your clothes too often and at high temperatures can damages clothes.

When you wash less, you save money on clothes and energy bills and you get to wear your clothes for longer – win win!

OUR PRODUCT OFFER Feel Good, Look Good Our debut collection is made to be adaptable in dreamily soft, premium fabrics.

Unique and also coordinated pieces available.

Dresses Viscose fabrics with in house designed unique prints, adaptable features (like removable collars and bows).

Available in sizes 6-20. Midi length to maxi length in beautiful fits. .

Co-ords Tops, trousers, available in viscose fabrics with in house unique prints with beautiful details.

Knitwear is also available to coordinate.

Knitwear Organic cottons, luxury merino and baby alpaca blends designed to layer or statement pieces of pure joy.

Activewear Reversible printed legging and sports bra - two prints to choose from.

Jersey pieces are also available.

OUR FABRICS All our styles have carefully developed with premium fabrics and BRA ND PRESENTA TI O N PRO DUCT

components that are supremely comfortable, soft against the skin and that are kind to planet and people.

Our low -impact Oeko-Tex certified yarns and fabrics are knitted and woven in the highest quality yarns to create a soft, tactile touch.

Yarns: BABY ALPACA, MERINO WOOL , ORGANIC COTTON • Baby alpaca is a luxury super soft yarn that is softer, stronger, warmer, and retains less water than wool.

• Merino wool is a luxury yarn, soft to the skin and can be worn all year round as it naturally self regulates body temperatures.

• Organic cotton is naturally cultivated cotton without the use of any synthetic agricultural chemicals, such as fertilizers or pesticides - this is sustainable, ecological, and biodynamic for agriculture.

Organic cotton is much better for the skin and the planet.

It also lasts longer, the key to a sustainable wardrobe.

Wovens: HEAVY WEIGHT SATIN TWILL VISCOSE & RAYON CREPE

• Viscose and Rayon is derived from natural materials such as wood pulp, from fast-growing, regenerative trees such as eucalyptus, beech and pine as well as plants such as bamboo, soy, and sugar cane.

Viscose is used as a silk substitute as it has a similar drape and smooth feel as silk.

We go to great lengths to make sure our supply chain uses the best environmentally conscious materials and methods we can.

Keko Studio manufacturer in factories that are aligned with our environmental, societal and political philosophy.

OUR FACTORIES Our Chinese manufacturers produce high end, quality, intricate, detailed products. woven factory is women owned and approved BSCI, SGS, BV and ITS women clothing manufacturer audit. & P R O C E S S E S Our They pride themselves with happy workers, equal pay and high end craftsmanship.

We source all our fabrics, printing and trims local to the factory to eliminate carbon footprint.

Our Chinese knitwear manufacturer is Sedex and Wrap approved.

All factories work with high quality fabric mills local to our factory which have Oeko-Tex certification (A bit about what this means: STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX® certified products have been tested for harmful substances to protect your health) This label certifies that every component of the product, from the fabric to the thread and accessories, has been rigorously tested against a list of up to 350 toxic chemicals.

All our factories are audited and measure their environmental impact and they also have a wonderful, happy and dedicated team of employees. They feel like famly. .

Our ethos is to make beautiful high end garments by happy and highly skilled employees, sourced with the environment in mind.

We started our manufacturing journey with the commitment that we try to keep our impact on the planet as low as possible.

This starts at the very beginning of the design process to the final finished product.

& Labelling

• Our swing ticket is made from FSC 100% recycled uncoated paper card and strung with recycled black Cotton string • Each garment has a personal message to the wearer. Each garment has a different message like a fortune cookie.

• Each garment comes in a eco viscose branded voile pillow bag. Ideal for protection, storage gifting and also for washing the garment in. No plastic garment bags are used.

• Every piece is carefully wrapped in our FSC certified tissue paper and sealed with our dye cut custom stickers with positive messages.

• All our postal packaging is plastic free. .

FSC certified and made from recycled paper and card that is fully recyclable and biodegradable.
