Lion’s Plaza ATC 2023 TOwer Project
NOTES.
1. All dimensions to be checked on site, written dimensions to be followed in preference to scaled dimensions.
Students Center Residential Apartments
2. All walls less than 200mm thick to be reinforced with hoop iron at every alternate course.
3. All reinforced concrete work is to be in accrdance with structural engineer's details.
4. All sanitary work to be in accordance with M.O.H rules and regulations.
5. Where drain passes under building or driveway area, pipe to be of cast iron or encased in 150mm concrete.
6. All waste pipes and soil pipes are to be in ducts and the bends to have allcleansing eyes accesible from outside.
7. All internal plaster to be two coats steel float finished.
8. All manholes within building area, driveway and parking to have heavy duty air tight covers and double sealed.
9. All rain-water downpipes are to be 75mm internal diameter grey PVC casted inside concrete columns to approval
10. All painting to be three coats.
11. Samples of fittings, materials etc to be produced and approved before commencing work.
12. All office windows to have P.C cills, built in PV Pelmet boxes and timber internal window cills.
13. Steel trusses/portal frames and purlins to be painted with 2 coats of oil paint over red oxide undercoat.
14. Fire fighting equipment to be provided and installed by Building Fire Consultants where show on plan.

This was the first project I worked on outside school. Under Angiletti Design Studio as a trainee, I was given the privilege to draft some of the elevations of Lion Plaza Hotel. The project is currently under construction in Kibuli.
On this project, I worked closely with the Draftspersons but also with the interior designing and landscape team. From this project, I actively used AutoCAD and Sketchup in association with Vray.
ATC 2023 TOWER MAINTENACE PROJECT.
This project included intensive improvements on the already existing telecommunication towers from different locations all over Uganda. My role was to draft the new models, old models and improvements on all the towers using the information provided by the field officers and as advised by the telecommunication engineers presented to me. I mostly interacted with steel structure details although I mostly used AutoCAD as my drafting software and for the creation of templates.
STUDENT’S CENTRE.
As part of a school project during my architecture diploma, I drafted and designed this student centre to serve the student body and the guild leadership at the International University of East Africa. Below are the Construction drawings prepared using Archicad as required by the Client;
RESIDENTIAL APARTMENTS
This was another real-life project that was proposed to be set up in Wakiso District. On this project, I realized the beauty of teamwork since I had not yet learnt structural design and I required the help of the rest of the engineering team to get the work effectively done.
