ABOUT ME :
I am a third-year Architectural Studies and Business student from the Bay Area. I began college studying Civil Engineering. However, after attending an architecture study abroad program in the south of France, I was able to see firsthand how design is not only a form of art, but has the greater responsibility of shaping the way people experience the world. Traveling has, since then, opened my eyes to the ways that architecture is the mold that influences individuals, communities, cultures, societies etc. Inspired by a deeper understanding, I strive to contribute to shaping the built environment into a better world.

GROUND PLAN

This project was a culmination of boxed spaces. I designed from the inside out and emphasized the form through the use of boxed windows. The general shape of the building is a U, whilst everything is centered around the courtyard that leads into the back yard. Within the structure, I made use of the complexity of the space to create smaller spaces within the greater room.
