This site is remotely located within the 20 acres that form the riverine correctional facility of the Mazaruni Prison located in Region #7 (Cuyuni/Mazaruni) The project for the expansion of the Mazaruni Prison involved the Construction of a U-shaped four storey structural steel framed building that sits on a foundation consisting of pad footings and ground beams with a slab on grade ground floor slab. The central courtyard area consists of two enclosed Prison Yards to be used for recreational purposes. External and internal walls are generally reinforced concrete and the roof consists of corrugated metal sheets above a reinforced concrete slab The construction of the new wing is expected to house an estimated 400 prisoners

Description

This pro ect for ExxonMobil Global Services consists of a 15 acre campus ocated in Ogle on the outskirts of Georgetown Guyana. Primary function is office space supporting operations division (Esso Exploration and Product on Guyana Limited) The project consists of a two 3-story office buildings, w th a total floor area of approximately 125 000+ sq ft associated surface park ng and site mprovements

The buildings are framed with structural steel framed supported on approximately 800 No pre-stressed concrete piles A l floors will be fully bui t out including F F&E Supporting structures include a loading dock with 2 truck bays and trash collect on area generator enclosure, utility yard with water storage and treatment plant vehicle wash-down area, outdoor pav lion approximately 2 900 sq. ft., covered walks connect ng the buildings, solar shade covers on the parking, two security guard houses with restrooms soft and hard landscaping and al associated infrastructure works

There is an option for a third office building to be constructed to match the proposed other buildings the instruction to proceed with this building may come during the construction. This complex will have a net zero energy footprint

Description:

The demolition work entails removal of steel columns, steel beams roof trusses, galvanize sheeting, radiant barrier, concrete blockwall, reinforced concrete floor slab and foundations, column foundations and perimeter drainage outside the warehouse. The reconstruction work of the new bottling hall with approximate dimensions of 238ft x 120ft entails placement of ground beams, pad footings, column pedestals, retaining walls underground drainage utilizing CPVC pipes, reinforced concrete floor slab, stainless steel floor drains and gutter drains in slab, blockwall, R- panel wall cladding installation column and beam installation, radiant barrier and roof sheeting and purlin installation.
