As the days get shorter and shorter and the darkness seems to seep in from everywhere, this is the season that reminds us most to give. It is also the time when we can be the light in the darkness for someone else. In doing so, we can help others around us see what it means to truly give of oneself, but we can also light our own way. Our simple acts of kindness are much more powerful than we know. These pages hold information from many non-profit organizations in Kansas City about how we can best support them, and the work they are doing to lift people up. Through them, hopefully we can make the light in the darkness a little brighter.
This year Give KC is sponsored by The University of Kansas Health System. The University of Kansas Health System is part of the region’s premier academic health system. Services include lifesaving care for complex conditions.
