My name is Kimberly Barraza-Saenz, A current interior design student at The University of Kearney, Nebraska. Growing up from a Hispanic household, I have been taught the value of hard work, determination, and dedication. These values have shaped me into who I am today and how I approach my work. From a young age, I have always loved expressing my creativity whether it be through coloring, drawing or photography. I have always been drawn to art, and this passion has grown me into a love for Interior Design. I was surrounded by a rich culture of vibrant colors and bursts of history. It taught me to appreciate the importance of perspective and connection in seeing the world in a new light.I believe in creating spaces that evoke emotions and connections. My Cultural background has inspired me to create inclusive and visually stimulating spaces. Whether it is crafting a welcoming atmosphere at a casino venue or transforming a commercial space to stimulate creativity. I am dedicated to delivering my excellence in every project.
I’m excited to keep learning on the journey I have ahead and eager to collaborate with others who share my passion for meaningful design. My ultimate goal as a designer is to create spaces that connect people and make a positive impact on their lives.

Overview
NEXT Advertising Agency, Founded in 2010, is a dynamic marketing firm known for creating impactful compaigns across various industries. Headquartered in New York City, and they will be creating a new office in Chicago.
The Chicago office will be working with four prominant global brands: L’Oreal, Martini Rosso, Block tap shoes, and Ever.
NEXT Mission is to create a cohesive image for these companies. This approach enhances recognition, builds trust with customers, and strengthens the overall market presence of each brand.
By aligning their visual identity and communication strategies, NEXT ensures these companies stand out in cometitie industries and foster lasting connections with theit audiences.
Concept

The concept for the Next Office revolves around creating a cohesive space that blends functionality with inspiration. Drawing from the rich history of music, The design will feature bold and vibrant colors that energizes and captivate the space. This space aims to cultivate collaboration and ignite new ideas, creating an atmosphere where clients and office staff can easily connect and work together. By integrating musical elements and a thoughtfully designed atmosphere, the office will not only serve as a workspace but also as an experience that inspires creativity and connection for everyone who enters.

Desk Design Development
The final Desk represents the vibrancy and energy. This design approach fosters an energetic and atmospheric environment that fuels creativity and innovation. The desk incorporates curves and sharp angles creating a rythmic dynamic balance. The Logo “N” itself adds a touch of branding and reinforcing a sleek and modern feel.

Music Therapy Room
A music therapy room in the office can significantly improve employee well-being and productivity. Studies have shown that music helps reduce stress and anxiety by calming the nervous system, promoting relaxation, and improving focus.
A dedicated space for music allows employees to take a mental break, recharge, and return to work with a clearer mind, enhancing creativity and concentration.
By fostering a more relaxed and positive atmosphere, a music therapy room can boost job satisfaction, reduce burnout, and ultimately improve overall workplace performance.
1 Community Transformation
The potential of this building will contribute to the growth and improvement of the community by meeting housing needs. This will help alleviate housing shortages and make living more affordable for residents. Opening these residential units will stimulate economic growth, enhance community services, and will create a thriving and dynamic environment for Franklin Nebraska. The main concept was based on the regrowth of the community. 26.

2 Origami Illuminair
This lantern was inspired by the movie Tangled and features a unique touch of gold flakes as you see closely on the twelve origami flowers. The gold flakes add a touch of elegance while the origami flowers and seven origami suns create a whimsical and playful atmosphere.
The base of the lantern was made using electrical wire, secured with hot glue to keep it in place. Balloons were used to help shape it, and then brown tissue paper was applied with Elmer’s glue to form the lantern’s structure. Once dry, it was spray-painted gold to create an opaque effect, while still allowing the light to shine through.
This lantern adds warmth and a natural touch, making it a beautiful and unique piece of art that would enhance any room.
