The exact origin of The Haitian Kazino game are unknown, althogh there’s very similar card games in other counties including the English casino that originated in England. The rules of The Haitian Kazino unique to the country. The game gets passed down from generation to generation.

GAME OF MATH

The Game uses addition to play.

You add up the cards on the floor to pick up with the sum equivalent card in hand. You can ONLY play one card per turn.

You win by collecting the most card when the game ends

DEAL

Every player gets 5 cards and 5 are placed on faced up on the table. The person to the right of the shuffler goes first and the rotation proceeds that direction.

P L A Y The Players play counterclockwise around the table. at your turn you must play exactly one card from your hand face up to the table

This played card can be used in 3 possible ways

Capture

Build

Trail

CAPTURE

A played card may capture one or more face up cards on the table. it can capture individual cards of equal value and/or cards that add up to the sum of the played card. The played card along with the capture cards are placed in YOUR CARD PILE.

BUILD

“STACKING’

You can play a card to combine with another card on the table to collect up next time its your turn with the sum of both cards in hand.

It can only be picked up if a opposing player has that sum card, this is called Stacking.

Pressing is when you play a card of equal value on each other then saying “PRESS”. That card can now only be picked up up with a 3rd card of equal value from yourself or a opposing player that may steal it.

when the mother deck ends and each player receives their final 5 cards for the final round. Whoever captured the last card or cards picks up EVERYTHING left on the table to add to their pile.

The played card with no option to capture or build is simply left on the table to be captured or build upon throughout the game.

END GAME.

In the unlikely scenario that two or more people have the same amount of captured cards. all the cards needs to be put back together anshuffled throughly, then spread out on the table. The tied players will then draw one card each from the spreaded face down cards simultaneously. whoever picks up the higher number wins.
