KAWANTI Events:
April recap Tourist For a Day!

At the start of the new cruise season Ketchikan, Alaska opens its arms to locals for a day of exploration, discovery, and adventure. This is most often known as "Tourist for a Day", an annual event where locals have the opportunity to experience Ketchikan's top attractions, activities, and culture as if they were tourists.
For this event, we provided exclusive discounts to local residents for our exciting tours, including the Rainforest Canopy Zipline Tour, Adventure Kart Expedition, and Rainforest Wildlife Sanctuary & Totem Park Tour. The Adventure Kart Expedition was particularly popular this year, with 13 locals enjoying the thrilling experience. We also had a great turnout at our Alaska Rainforest Sanctuary with our Zipline and Walking guests! Tourist for a day is a great way to engage with our community and show appreciation to our locals that support us year round! Thanks again to all who chose to spend their day with us!
GIVING BACK TO KAYHI
Our Adventure Kart Expedition team, known for thrilling off-road tours through the Tongass National Forest, decided to give back to the community that has supported us over the years. With the new addition of our Polaris RZR’s, we donated two of our old Tomcars to the auto shop class at Ketchikan High School. With this donation we are providing hands-on learning opportunities for high school students interested in automotive technology.
This unique donation will not only enhance the students' hands-on learning experiences, but we also hope they will inspire interest in future careers within the automotive industry. By supporting education and fostering a drive for exploration, Kawanti Adventures strives to make a positive impact, empowering the next generation of mechanics and engineers.
