The project is coupled to the limit that the mangrove has, and it plays with the fullness and emptiness of the trees so that there is an ambiguity between the inside and the outside, and thus to assimilate that the project has always been there, in one natural and sustainable way. That there is a constant circuit between the project and that, in turn, is inside and outside the mangrove, generating a natural connection with it. Parts of the project will be integrated into the mangrove, while others will be in the previously mentioned limit, to integrate the entire area. In addition, the community will take advantage of that space that at this moment is not being used, which will contribute to the area. Inclusion needs to be created by inviting the community to enter the mangrove, to make it feel a part of it, but without the duty to exploit or damaging it.

Most of the work done has been donated by professionals and volunteers interested in getting involved with the community. Each new living space will have two private sleeping areas, a small common area, and a bathroom with a shower.

Photography
Photography is a tool I use for exploring the world around us. Textures created by nature, and its natural patterns, has drawn my attention. Through my photographs, l’ve been able to see the shifts in these patterns even a short distance apart. Changing perspective and understanding the different scales of detail and how nature structures its beauty, opens a new gate to understand how architecture can be observed. That exchange of micro to macro and vice versa enthralls me.
