Target Market Meet Caleb A free-spirited 20-30 year old single male that is always searching for an adventure. He works a remote job that allows him to live on the go and be able to always travel to new places, doing this he makes around $50,000- $80,000 a year. He also publishes a travel blog on the side that highlights his favorite places and his experiences on the road.

He is laid back and always looking to have a new experience. He enjoys road trips and living off the earth. He values and appreciates the beauty of nature and try to be kind to the earth. He wants to travel and see all nature has to offer. He doesn’t mind traveling alone, but loves to bring his loved ones along to share the simplistic and grounding lifestyle. He likes experiencing as many new things as possible and meeting new people. He loves the rawness of the earth and thrives of the peace mother-nature offers.

Purple Brand Overview Purple Brand was created by Rob Lo Hailing and Luke Cosby in 2017. They recruited a group of their friends and industry veterans to begin the brand.

In their first season, the founder purposefully began the company in a single product category, denim, with the goal of creating a genuine brand that offers a stylish product across a spectrum of categories.

Purple wanted to find a way to mix streetwear with luxury. What they have curated is a mix of men’s denim and luxury basics.

Purple set out to fix the issue of quality in men’s denim. “Men’s denim at the contemporary price point is simultaneously too simple and too complicated.”

Strengths Focusing their innovation on denim. This is a long term trend and an anchor in men’s fashion.

Dsquared2 Overview Dean and Dan Caten, twin brothers from Willowdale, Toronto, began their careers in fashion in 1984 at New York City's Parsons School of Design.

Eight years later, the pair relocated to Italy with the goal of establishing their own business.

The designers launched their first men's collection under the Dsquared2 label in 1995, after partnerships with some of Italy's most prominent fashion houses.

In 2008 opened the first Dsquared2 flagship store in Milan.

Dsquared2’s philosophy is described as “an edgy mix of Canadian iconography, refined Italian tailoring and playful sensuality.”

Their collections are a mix of contrasts: sporty and glamorous, laidback and extravagant, + masculine and feminine, creating a distinct concept of luxury.

Balenciaga Overview Balenciaga was created in 1919 by a Spanish designer, Cristobal Balenciaga, in San Sebastian, Spain and was acquired by the Kering Group in 2001.

Now based in Paris, the luxury brand has been headed by creative director Demna Gvasalia since 2015.

Their mission is for “luxury clothes to be worn, not mothballed; product that is desirable without losing its integrity as something practical.”

They state that, “Innovation is ultimately experimentation, which is essential to Balenciaga's creative process as well as how we run our business” in their commitment to sustainability.
