portfolio ABOUT Katelyn Lair became interested in fashion at a young age through costumes and a short stint in ballet classes. She took her first sewing class when she was 7, then later rekindled her interest in sewing and design in middle school. She experimented with original designs in high school by making her own prom dress and accessories, adding details such as ribbon roses and lacing to create an interesting look. Katelyn is inspired by historical and fantasy elements as well as mixtures in color and texture. She creates vintage designs with a modern flair that include attention to detail and fit.
